We have apparently signed TAANE MILNE on a 2-year deal. This signing would be great and would go well with our strong side for 2018\. ALSO ADAM ELLIOT wants out of the Bulldogs. TIGERS, SIGN HIM UP. Is it just me, or does anyone want the 2017 season to end already and get prepared for the 2018 season where the TIGERS are gonna wreck everyone? For more information about Taane Milne and Adam Elliot, click on the LINK????

So which Sydney club has made the $900,000 pa offer to a half under contract? There is possibly one or maybe two who could afford to pay!

Who the half

That was good to read. I hope it's true. I'd love us to also get another gun forward or even two.

No name mentioned but you'd have to guess there is only one or two clubs in Sydney who could fit this player in the cap. Could you guess that it may be a similar situation as to when we had Austin?

James Maloney -Souths

I've only seen Taane play a couple of times but was really impressed, great footwork, speed and power.

I was surprised though to see on the Dragons website that he in only 182cm and 99kg, looks a lot bigger. Either way I think he would be a massive upgrade for us and hopefully we announce it soon!

How does Souths fit him in the salary cap and if the Sharks have to upgrade his contract to retain him that must upset that Club's recruitment plans.

Souff's whole backline bar Inglis and Gagai if he goes would be on $50 ..their back row and bench Props not much more….

It's a jig saw had we not gone in for Reynolds ..Maloney would have been great..

This is about Milne though..will be a good signing definitely a First Grader who is a genuine outside back.. an upgrade on current stocks..

Smart move by Souths if true - Maloney is one of those players that success follows. Suggestion is he not being paid his current worth - this will be interesting Its becoming a ruthless system with players and contracts atm

Milne is a good signing and he is only 22\. Finally we will have a very good combination in the centres.

If Milne signing is true we will have a great centre pairing for the next 10 years.

I would go all out for Adam Elliot as we require a hard running second rower.

I would even be prepared to swap Woods and Elliot prior to 30 June 2017.

2018 is looking brighter.

Correct. Word going around is that Inglis won't be at Souths next year which will free up the money required to sign Maloney. Inglis is likely to go to Brisbane, which is a major reason why a few Brisbane players are still off-contract despite publicly stating they will stay at the Broncos (Roberts, Mead, Kahu & Blair). It seems the Broncos are waiting to see how much of their cap (sombrero) they will have left for those players.

Fox Sports has again made reference to Tigers having already signed Mahe fonua in the Milne article. Seems he keeps popping up as already signed over the past few weeks yet no formal confirmation from club.

My understanding is Tigers were trying tio get him for the rest of this year so are holding off the announcement until that is confirmed either way although it is leaning towards him not coming to next year

Apparently still injured. Did not feature in last couple of Hull games.
So I guess that will be next year as we are approaching 30 June cut off.

Taane Milne is honestly the best young centre on the market. If the Dragons are signing Lafai over him they need a head examination.

I would sign Lafai over Milne, Lafai is an awesome center and a great player. Probably less coin and more potential.

A bit late now, Lafai re-signed for 3 years last week.

Bit late old son, for you change Coaches mind on that one!
