Taane Milne (official)

This guy looks the goods.

Agree. Powerful runner who was highly rated as a junior.
Dragons fans aren't happy they let him go.
His offload to Dugan was huge Dugan bombed the try.

I watched him closely …. and was impressed.
I also caught last week's Force v Rebels game and Rona looked good.
Hope we sign him.

The forces season is over now. I assume the decision on their future is around the corner.

Milne was outstanding against NZ. 93 metres, 22 tackles 3 offloads but was huge in defence. He’s a very good player.
Will form a powerful right edge with Nofa and hopefully Aloai.

His game is similar to a rugby inside centre. I think he may have played in the Aust Schoolboys Rugby.

I think had a rugby background at Newington college, than Aust schoolboys, than Easts u20s,than Dragons…but not 100% sure. Anyway I said when we signed him he could be the best of all our signings. Discipline has always been a issue, but Cleary is the man to fix that

Seems to be stepping up in higher company

Lets hope he still can keep the same passion in and tangerine ,black and white jersey

Spot on there SC.

But will he start?

Between Nofo, Kev N, MWZ, Founa, Thompson, Marsters and Milne (have I missed anyone)
We have to get 2 centers and 2 wingers. If the bench spot goes too Marshall (and it may) it leaves 3 people sitting out. Ok one will be MWZ, but on the above list, Milne is going to have to fight for his spot pretty hard.

Marsters to bench, Milne & Suli in centres, Nofo & MWZ/Kev/Thompson/Fonua on the wings

That's a lot of wingers! I don't think we're allowed that many

Maybe they could widen the field for us.

My money is on Nofo, Fonua with Suli and Milne as starters. I'm guessing Marsters will be moving to the second row, looks much more ready than Suli.
