Tallyn was lucky to get away with as many forward passes as he did. He has a lot to work on. Defence, passing and fatigue and fitness.

I noticed a few of those that didn't get pulled upTallyn was lucky to get away with as many forward passes as he did. He has a lot to work on. Defence, passing and fatigue and fitness.
What possible benefit do they have by releasing TDS before June 30 other than lower costs?Could very well be a Tristan Hope 65 mins / Charlie Murray 15 mins dummy half combo next week I shit you not. In fairness they can be serviceable but we’ll be relying on Latu & Doeuihi for creativity.
You watch him suddenly improve all of those things overnight at another club.Tallyn was lucky to get away with as many forward passes as he did. He has a lot to work on. Defence, passing and fatigue and fitness.
I’m not sold on that. TDS is a tempo player and seems to lose finesse when rushing. It’s been part of the tds experience this whole time… seems baked inYou watch him suddenly improve all of those things overnight at another club.
The recent improved performances in KOE and Flegg teams suggest a lot of work is happening.Because we have a crap KOE team of players, the "good" ones in the team don't develop... their skills plateau and their confidence and fitness plunge... that's why they all want to leave...we need a strong reserve grade team to 1) put pressure on the FG team 2) to develop the skills and a winning culture of our fringe NRL players...
this club has a lot of work to do to become a competitive club... a lot of work

Don’t agree, what was the score when bunji took him off, and when he brought him back on??He was completely outplayed by Simpkin tonight
Seems a bit overrated to me ?Tallyn was lucky to get away with as many forward passes as he did. He has a lot to work on. Defence, passing and fatigue and fitness.
Its been a doner kebab of a season... started out beautiful and full of expectation... ended up a sloppy mess tossing the last bit awayHes possibly distracted but....
Good bench hooker.
Ordinary starting hooker.
I'm a fan of TDS but, he isn't that guy.... yet.
Any team considering him for that role is making a mistake.
Jeez, our year just goes from bad to worse, each week. Honestly.

What’s it matter. We’ll have 40 put on us either way.Assuming TDS is not suspended then if Richo / Benji release him this week leaving us with No hooker next weekend then I give up
Nah, totally disagree there mate.I don't really understand this though? Unless it is a loan deal for 3 years.
The whole reason TDS wants out is because he sees himself at a starting hooker come 2027 and Api is blocking his pathway. Unless the club have sold him the vision I think a loan deal does not make any sense.
This was the first season in a while that the expectation of a good season was justified. It’s underwhelming because our roster is not bottom 4.Its been a doner kebab of a season... started out beautiful and full of expectation... ended up a sloppy mess tossing the last bit away
A roster is not limited to just the first 20 odd players. This was the first season in a while that the expectation of a good season was justified. It’s underwhelming because our roster is not bottom 4.
Hindsight is 20/20. The consensus in the pre season was that we would hover around 9th or 10th. The bigger problem for why that hasn’t happened is the coaching. We’ve lost 6 in a row, but had our chances in most of those games, but the spine couldn’t ice them. A spine consisting of Bula, Luai and Api, that should not happen. So who’s responsible for us coming up short? The half whose won 4 premierships, or the coach who got his certificate out of a cereal box?A roster is not limited to just the first 20 odd players.
Go back and look at the team lists named for the rounds of trials: that will tell you all you need to know about our roster.
For perspective; at the start of the season the dragons had a Top 30 roster with not one player having not debuted in the NRL. Aside from that they have debuted roughly 5 players this season.
They aren’t doing much better than us at the moment but they have a roster, depth and juniors pushing them and have suffered probably more key injuries than us.
Ok, what else was the common consensus at the start of the season? With injuries we’d struggle. We have lost 1 winger for 4-5 weeks, one back up half for 8 weeks and one prop for 6 weeks. Aside from that a game or two without Luai, Twal, Doueihi. It’s easy to say that with 20/20 vision. The consensus in the pre season was that we would hover around 9th or 10th.
