Taylor has to find a way to get more out of this bloke in 2015.

Watching the test match and the guy has that X Factor we are looking for. He just needs to be given the role. He's big, he's fast, he's athletic, he's skillful, and he has a great attitude.

JT stated he's looking for more strike on the edges well look no further than this guy.

He has to be our left edge back rower. He will terrorise opposition halves.

Bring Siro or Akaoula on after 20 to continue the assault.

Taupau was awesome tonight ! It was fitting that he finished with the ball in hand and got to kick the ball away at full time .
He's got a big motor .. And should be in our starting line up !

Blair was great as well !

Agreed Sirro…I thought he was enormous for the Kiwi's...he really has a nice pass on him as well....the more minutes he played the better he looked....

Good game by Taupau we need to get some mongrel up front woods is not the answer, wish someone would give this guy some angry pills so he can bend the line now and then a good forward but get angry.

Yeah well said King Sirro , the guy is improving game by game and since becoming an International has stepped up his game a notch. Exciting times

Great effort tonight from Taupau. Playing him at second row will solve our shortage there and leave more space for our abundance of good props.

Dunno about Taylor sleeping well tonight. Our marquee player and captain was horrendous.

Out of position for most of the night though. And the entire side was horrendous so who knows.

I think most people would never expect Farah to play a blinder as 5/8 in an Australian Test side.Blair played very well tonight. Aaron Woods was patchy but can improve.

Farah tried to play dummy half and halfback and five-eighth as usual. Smith had to push him out of dummy half plenty of times and with good reason because his options were just poor every time.

Imo Farah started thinking he was too good 5 years ago and focused on being beaten to the NSW side by Ennis and sulking about it rather than just knuckling down and improving as a footballer. Farah hasn't improved since then in anything but defence (arguably). He's gone backwards in decision making, service from dummy half and his run first pass second style is going to work less and less the older and slower he gets. He's also far more of a hog now. Cherrington needs game time this year and lots of it because Farah is fading fast.

Smith wasn't all that crash hot either. :unamused:

Doesnt matter that he was out of position. Robie has played plenty of good football in the halves.

I think Mac's summary is about right. Everything Robbie does these days is slow.

Age cacthes up to everyone.

When playing at that level, not everyone can be the playmaker, clearly when DCE and Inglis left the field panic set in and Robbie was put into the 5/8 role,in my opinion he tried to steady the ship but had to realise Smith is the captain of the side and he makes the decisions…Ok It appears Robbie didn't play his best,he should of just played the 5/8 role and not try to patch everything up on his own..I agree Robbie is getting on,but because of the circumstances of last nights game I will put it down to panic,we all know in all honesty he can play far better than that....

Back on topic, sorry for side tracking,Tapau will be sensational for us next year,he will be full of confidence after the 2014 season and after the test series..he also loves the club and I think JT will have a very handy forward that he may be able to swap from prop to second row and give us some sting out wide,he has an awesome pair of hands, his passing game is great and can offload good as well..I think and hope we will see Marty in amongst the mix a heck of a lot more next year…

Could it be that he's not your favourite player,
Sounds like he was solely responsible for the loss.
Yes he had a bad one , but he's Not a half and should never have been picked as one in a test match. I notice Smith hardly shone at 5/8th either.
As far as shockers go there were others who were much worse. Walker for example was terrible all game, and If DCE is supposed to be the future of the Queenslanders , then I can't wait for the coming SOO's. He really was crook.
Cronk was way below anything I've seen from him before. Papalli will be lucky if he sees a green and gold jumper again .
The whole team played looked like they haven't had a training run together.
But never mind , let's blame one player , and replace him with Cherrington. ( hope that works better than the last "new big thing"
What was his name again??? Oh yes that's right Luani.
