Imo this culture business is such bullshit and an over used term in sport and business. You can have a great so called culture where wives and families are all happy and loving the world, with players that lack ability and you are not going to win a game. Professional sports is about winning games!

What has worked for me in business and sport, is to build a team with ability and then build a bond (not culture] between the players so when they are together on or off the field they have each other’s backs. You then work on cohesion so they know what to do collectively and what is expected of them, the individual, in order for the whole team to work and get a result on the park. Trying to find a culture in the true meaning of the word is just nonsense. Players are transient, as are coaches and support staff. They come from different cultural and religious back grounds, don’t change them Direct them.

You find a bond, a reason for them to play for one another and not them selves. You win games and all of a sudden the media and pubic think you have a great culture.

May from reports sticks up for his mates and is a good footballer and now has an additional reason to play well and keep his nose clean.

I'm not a tattoos fan, but I reckon there are some players with really crap on their skin.

Can't wash that off.

Maybe the NRL needs to scrap the ladder all together like kids sport. Seems slack to the teams that try really hard but have a team full of nice guys that like watching butterflies during the game. C'mon, sign the guy on a 1 year deal with options after that. Hell half the NRL bow in prayer after the game. Pretty sure the "god" they pray to spruiked forgiveness. Whatever, maybe lock Twal into a bigger deal and let him play centre. He's a nice guy.

Don't really want to judge anyone for what they may or may not have done in the past but the piss weak NRL really make you scratch your head at times.

They allow Michael Jennings to come back into the game but don't allow a land mark 300 game playing achievement to be celebrated, quoting past indiscretions. 🤔

    Lets focus on whether he is a good player and makes us a better team On and Off the field
 
The last thing benji wants to do is to disrupt the culture he's built. Maybe he's willing to risk a one year contract but taylan wants more. Need to trust benji and Richo here
 
If the club does not sign may , I just can’t believe that they want to improve , we seem more interested in getting people out of the club , but saying that there’s a lot of kids signed to top 30 contracts that should never be there and on cheap contracts, why the hell have we not pushed them out rather than others they have let go .
NOT SIGNING MAY, may be the worst move we make , when we really need a class centre. Our club really pushes our buttons they want u behind the club but they just continue sometimes to let us down , I quess they think they know what there doing , BUT pass decisions DONT support that .
I quess Iam just angry, maybe todays game will make me feel better or my next rant will be a lot worse lol 🤔🥴😜
