OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May

As well as Toa and Doueihi went on Sunday it was only against a poor Parra team, go up against some big dogs with those two as our centre's we'll get rinsed.
Signing Taylan is well worth the risk seeing as he has a reasonable peer support group in Terrel, Api and Jerome amongst other's. Get it done Richo throw in some clause's and back your team and staff to keep his head on stright.

Pensini and Lomax are a better centre pairing on paper than Douehi and Toa and i thought our 2 outplayed them. This week its Farnworth and Averillo - once again much better pairing on paper. We'll see how they go i suppose.

Do you think Averillo is better than Toa or Douehi? He's faster but I don't see skill or strength.

To'a has impressed the last 2 weeks. Doueihi doing well and is our goal kicker.

Just wonder whether we are weighing uo the risks against signing him when we have 2 guys doing a decent job.

May's stats are better on the wing and Skelton and Turuva look good so far.

Perhaps we are thinking he is surplus, when mixed in with a big offer on Galvin and the need for forwards.
Both To'a and Doueihi have shown over their careers they are so inconsistent. A centre/winger is needed and May fits the bill.

You are right that there are risks though, the contract should reflect those risks and the lack of football he has played. Wouldnt surprise me if the hold up is May weighing up a couple of similar offers.

I though toa-rag was not sighted during the knights game. Hardly saw him run the ball, shit game by him!

Next year Doueihi, Naden and Feledy aren't signed... we will need centres. Get him now at a good price, sign him for a few years and he will 100% play first grade for us.

Good chance To'a or Doueihi miss games this year too or their form dips.

Look I want him to come, but just speculating over what the holdup might be.

He hasn't done much to kill off the perception that he's a rat bag with all his recent social media "content".

Clubs aren't run by 20 somethings. The fans aren't all 20 somethings. People want to see you're serious considering you've just had a scare with the law.

When other players are doing well, the club may consider investing in them over making a move on someone that might bring negative attention to the club.

Let's face it, do we think 360 isn't going to pull up every instagram post of him rapping every time we lose or he has a bad game. There's a lot of baggage that comes with the guy outside of his recent issues.

You can see how a club may steer clear.

100% understand what you're saying - but I'd think most clubs would take that risk. Good centres are hard to find, we haven't had one for like a decade. I don't know if we've even had a genuine centre for that long.

But yah, off-field seems a concern. Had that feeling for Terrell, but hearing him speak turned me around a bit... whereas hearing Taylan... nope.

Toa only played one game ....he was out Rd 1 Faatape played

It has to be taken into account that Taylan is a rough and tough bastard who adds serious starch to the backline. It should also be considered that one of our best players wants his brother here. Id like to hear what Luai and Turuva think after spending a couple of years with him.
Obviously clauses are required, but this is a signing that will bring more wins.
Extremely talented. Don't like him as a centre but he is a great great winger. Not sure we need him with skelton and turuva on the wing though. I really want a great defensive right centre. It's our biggest weakness

Look at Parra as a whole they had no idea without Moses, i'd take both their centre's over ours. Farnworth and Averillo are also a better paring but that doesn't mean we wont beat them regardless.
