We've underperformed in two games this year..

Vs knights in round 1...
Vs Storm 64-0

- Panthers, we didn't underperform
- Cowboys, I wouldn't call it underperforming given the 2 X sin bins.
- Rabbits we had the game won, with no thanks to dickhead gslvin.
- Storm, we underperformed by a looooong way.

We then go back to the Eels for our previous loss, in which we had Terrell may hit with a shoulder to the face the first tackle of the game (no intervention by the ref), laualili hit high in the act of scoring a try with no sin bin or penalty try... The joke of a hip drop tackle... And just the build up with the Galvin drama... This also wasn't underperforming..

Given the squad we have and lack of depth... I really don't see much "underperforming". . We've done well considering
It’s straw man nonsense mate .

His brother one of the elite props in the game
Which is kinda why I don't doubt his fitness or playing ability.
Ofcourse, lets see it.

I do believe his mental mindset is stuffed. Look I talk about how 16-25 year olds are pretty immature anyway, but the guy already has had some serious run ins with the law.

He needs a real mentor and/or baby-sitter.

I still don’t see any of the forum sages taking any issue with my prayer.

But strangely, I see plenty of high fives and cheery fist pumping over 13th place and falling.

I expect a lot more from the club.

I’m tired of excuses. We’ve had year upon year of talking not walking.

There’s gotta be a line drawn in the sand somewhere.

Not another go with the defibrillator and back into respite with another escript for the off season.

We need to be cured of failure, and forgive me but I’m prepared for the novel, highly unusual and totally experimental procedure of putting a international player straight into our centres.

Shame on me.

I'm on team don't rush him in - as much as I want him there now.

It's why I wanted them to get the deal done weeks ago. Many many weeks ago. We could have worked on getting back from then, and he would have been close to coming back into grade by now.

But now... unlikely to have a huge impact on where we end up this season.

I'd def try get him into NSW cup team ASAP after proving his state of mind/fitness.
If he was in any way interested in playing NRL after his court case he would have been training now for a couple of months at least. However, getting fit enough for NRL is a whole other level. Ask the boys how they're going during pre -season. He'll need a month of KOE.

I’m not sure how many reasons people need to throw out there trying to excuse him from playing. Seemingly infinite.

Does anyone really know how hard he’s been working since he’s been out with his court business?

And I wonder if anyone has actually asked him if he feels he’s ready?

He’s an elite player and we know if there’s one thing the panthers train for -over and over- it’s resilience, fitness and muscle memory. They’ve spoken about that many times.

Plus the enormous and significant bonus that he’s unlikely to be carrying any injuries.

I’d think he’d more than ready.

He’s going to carve up reserves like there’s no tomorrow.

Maybe Richo does, which is why he said he is 4-5 weeks off taking the field? I know it’s a stretch, but it seems plausible.
Possibly.

But I think it’s worth sacrificing an interchange position to cover for him in the event he doesn’t cut the mustard.

Yea, look I haven't watched or listened to every game. But I did hear the Rabbits game through and we just let them have the game.

Api did brillantly to outstep Mitchell Latrell. But Souths owned that game and owned most of the plays. The Souths game clearly showed a weakness in our coaching. We did not have an attacking structure and should have run through an undermanned souths. Instead were lucky it wasn't a wipeout.

Great post and there are reasons to be optimistic about the future

I think that it is fair to say that WT underperformed against the donkeys too, and not limited to the on-field performance for mine.

I think you've made your point...a dozen or more times.

Just trolling now huh?
Yeh it's getting tiresome. The people closer to the situation and those who are accountable for their actions no doubt have a process about the transition for good reason despite what we all feel about it from the outside looking in

I hope this guy has come to us knowing he has an opportunity to excel, not only in the position we need him in,but as a person who has learnt from prior misdemeanours and the chance to shine like his brother on and off the field..
He could be an oak for this team and squad if he has his head right...
Hoping for nothing but the best for him..
