OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May

Not in the Koe either…oh well.

But by the looks of it, there’s some decent players amongst the young and factory out there.

Should be a pretty willing contest.

I know it’s footy but being demoted would be a bitter pill to swallow.

He trained with Terrell in the off season.
I don’t reckon his fitness or conditioning will be an issue tbh, more just his timing in the game and getting used to being hit again
I think his prep could be expedited if we have him in amongst our top tier.

Timing, good point but I think there is some instinctual forces there which he’s got. Also the benefit of known panthera.

Getting hit is a good one. My ex roosters mate said when he impact trained with the panthers, the grommets weren’t allowed to tackle fg at game level lest there was an injury.

Some of the panthers heroes took advantage of that. Nado never did.

I’m worried about the season and he’s an asset, potentially game breaking, so I am seeking his inclusion asap.

It may cost us an interchange to cover for him if he lets us down, but weighing everything up I’m happy to take the risk.

We haven’t been developing to expectations, it’s not looking like we can break out without a circuit breaker and a few acts of courage.

Otherwise, at the end of yet another disappointing year, there will be the same references to improvements, being only marginal as against other sides.

He's been banging on about Taylan for a week I think he's had too many D head pills, all the rest of us can see that he will need weeks to be ready for 1st grade and Richo has said the same, when he's ready he will get a shot.
He’s in the system with an opportunity to impress. Why should he be given an arm chair ride over players like luuali , Makasini, Staines who have worked hard all year. No doubt he has the talent , if he has the desire he will shine through in good time . Anything else could end in disaster

I don’t need them Colin.

I’d rather face reality and try to address the issues.

In this case, expressing concern over our inability to meaningfully improve.

We have to walk the walk at some point.

I have expectations that aren’t being met. I’m looking at ways of changing things for the good.

And as a member, with an emotional and financial investment, I want results.

What makes you think bringing him straight away will improve the outside backs.

Do you know better than what the club does, I'm sure when they think he's ready he will be selected.

I’ve put my case for rushing him into the side asap for days.

I don’t have all the information the club has, but what I do know is that we haven’t won for months and are heading for the spoon.

So we need to change things.

You can argue the club knows what it’s doing, but the results don’t reflect that position at all.

If we knew what we were doing we would doing a lot better. The roster is underperforming.

His expedition is just thing we should look at amongst many others.

Right or wrong, that’s my opinion.

No more Doogie asking his opponent if he’d mind if Doogie made another attempt at tackling him.

A fair range of skills at his disposal.

I loved that fend and one arm pass.

Creativity and picture perfect execution in positioning, stance, strength, fend and offload.

Predicted the gap, read the defence and summarily destroyed it.

He’s deceptively powerful for his build and stature. Not all players have this, although I admire their courage to play our brutal sport and the women, it’s tough out there too.

But the aforementioned play, no hesitation, no confusion, no panic.

His ability to process and resolve what’s in front of him at lighting speed ….
