Taylor punts Skandalis

Even though Skando is not suited to be a strength and conditioning coach I think the club is doing the right thing by giving him another position within the establishment. I think throwing him out on the streets is the wrong thing to do, especially in eyes of the loyal Campbeltown fans. I think that a PR type of role would be good for Skando.

Yeah good call mate. I reckon he'd be suited to more of a community/PR role. Good to see Taylor is not wasting anytime overhauling the areas which need it most.

On the same day this news breaks, the roosters strength and conditioning bloke announced he is quitting the club…

Just a coincidence?

I hope not.

Remember Skandos a former father of the year

Turn him into the King of the Kids ,with the schools etc

As others have said, Skando would be perfect in a public relations role. I don't know why some people have to mock him by suggesting he can lay out the witches hats etc. What have you achieved in your life that qualifies you to mock a great clubman like Skando?

Anyway, we don't know whether this is a real step in the right direction until we know who Taylor has to replace him.

I have a feeling that Taylor will replace him with someone that's much better qualified Cobbs :arrow_right:

I hope JT gets rid of the dead wood in the playing roster too.

Did he score the first goal did he? Wasn't it the first try? Journalism at its finest.

If I recall correctly, in another threat it was said this guy is a Level 3 ASCA S&C qualifications, which is what we need.
Not the Level I quals we've had managing the troops.

I recall reading on here that he is going overseas, so won't be coming here.

It is a good call keeping him within the club for a role more suited to him. I like Skando and he could work out well in a PR role or even player welfare role. He was just in over his head as a S&C employee.

The guy we are talking about is Keegan Smith (Brian Smith's son)… and he comes with glowing references from the Roosters.

Havn't heard that he is going overseas, and quietly hoping Jason Taylor has headhunted him for the Tigers.

I'm just baffled to know what kind of insight Blocker could possibly give. He has to be there, solely to motivate , surely not tell the players how to play. You watch Gus on TV, and while he's a knob, you can tell he has a football brain, and is one of the smartest people in the game. You hear Blocker call a game and you think to yourself ''what the hell must this guy bring to a club''. Calling a game he's clueless, god knows what he must be like in the dressing room.
