I wonder what most of the critics will say when he does happen to get them on track and playing for eighty minutes…

Egg on the face can be a sticky situation..

I will say it again,he can't do much with the youth with little NRL experience and the sub standard nrl roster...it takes time...

This kills me this one. If we put in a great performance I would be ecstatic. If JT can get the team playing well it would be awesome.

Hope your happy after the great victory against the Storm…..

He said it
It was coming
And there it is
Did I think it would happen as a tiger supporter , no
I'm so,happy , and still don't know what next week will bring
Sleep well ,and hope we get another game like that , we will compete

Great win but how many did we miss through the stifling of the natural attack of this team.

18 games to find the ability to coach to the strengths of a team is not first grade standard.

Imagine if we could have afforded a good coach and this was game 4 of the season. we are stuck with him now but it could have been so much better this year. Yes I'm a JT non believer

JT had to stifle the attack so they could learn to defend….get the defense right and the attack will come as tonight proved...it all takes time and if you stick with the WTs next year you will see the great benefit of laying a defensive platform....you never know you may even become a believer....

now, i dont mean to be a negative neddy, neigbourinos, and im very happy about the win, but i do think it was a combination of the more positive playing style of the tigers tonight and the storm being pretty below par for them.

how taylor wouldve loved them to play like that a few weeks back when the heat was really on them!

after the souths game i said that maybe taylor really did know what he was doing, only for the ensuing weeks to see the team plummet in their performances. the test now is to keep them up. what the team needs to do now is capitalise on this and end the year strongly so they (and we!) have momentum and hope for next season.

The best thing about last nights win was….the team will get a lot of confidence from that game..

As I posted in reply to Jirskyr yesterday, what JT really means is hidden halfway in the article…

“We’ve been pretty good for a lot of the games in the last two weeks against some of the better teams in the competition,” Taylor said.
>
“We just want more of that and 80 minutes is what we’re after.”

Whats not to believe in the above quote?

Is that the same 80 minutes he has been after since round 2 ? hope he can find it before kick off in 2016 it has to be around at Concord somewhere..

I'd say so

Yes.
And going into a few quite.possible winnable games…just hope for another good performance next week then going into Knights at Cambo.

I can't wait for the Knights game at Campbo….they tell me there will be a pre game party going on,some group called the WTF......I'm excited.....

Taylor needs to learn from last nights effort in terms of what were the contributing factors that he can control as a coach and/or what he did during the week to get the team up. Yes there were other factors that led to the win, not just Taylor, but to get some sort of consistency then maybe he needs to look at his influence on the team because if the team can beat some of the top sides in the comp then spend most weeks playing like no hopers there may be something in what he does or doesn't always do?

Also Cunno, for most of these players the "penny finally dropped",re getting how the structure works…..

Anyone who wasn't happy with that win would be nuts.
It was good to see them play that well in attack for most of the game.
And to see Moses play better than he has all year, he deserved the credit that he's received for tonight's game,
Tedesco had one of the best games that I've seen from him.
There was alarm bells ringing all over the place when he grabbed at his knee. This bloke is so important to this teams future.,
It was a real team win and was badly needed.
As for egg on the face, the same thing was trumpeted after the win over Souths.
I hope the aftermath of this game goes differently than after that win, with the teams coming up , it should
We've always been able to get up for one or two games occasionally, but there was no consistency. Hopefully that may change this time
A thoroughly deserved win!

That's true and they needed someone like Farah to push it.

Ok forumers lets be completely honest with ourselves…and I mean honest.,.
JT has a sub standard roster.

If you are being really honest you should see that this is nothing more than YOUR opinion.

I will stick with MY opinion, and give the team,JT credit for an outstanding win against the Storm….

Looked to me they played exactly the same as against the Rorters and Broncos….Difference was against the Storm we completed at 80 odd % and scrambled much better in defence...

The difference was we won the penalty count and the Storm dropped the ball 14 times.

Yep - getting a fair crack with the refs makes a huge difference in the outcome of a game - especially with a team short on depth and experience like ours.
