TAYLOR..Tigers can compete with Best in NRL...

They are clearly quite capable if they concentrate for the full 80 or the bulk of the 80 at least

There has been a coaching issue all season. To be fair to JT he has just started coaching us and that may excuse his pre-conceived ideas. That doesn't excuse the negative game plans and stupid comments in the media.

JT has a decent team to work with and we can win games. We need a coach to get the most out of our squad.

When team shows up like they did tonight they certainly can mix it with the top teams.

I think that JT recognises that he has to win games and I think any moron can tell that you need to score more points than you let in so hopefully he gets that as well.

Moving on from that I think he had some stupid ideas when he came here and I think those ideas were that defence was the only thing that mattered. I'm hopeful that he has learnt how dumb that was and that now he is focussing on creating a good team.

So I Suppose JT is the best thing since slice bread now  .

Fantastic win.

I dont think the haters get it. We have an issue where the players turn up only for the leagues best and only some of the time. Its a long term issue for the club and mentality issues are hardest to coach.

It isnt a fable, but on a roll a team is unstopable, every pass sticks, every cover tackle there is someone there to do the dirty work. The best teams can turn this tide because they understand the little things count, things can turn around…

We had faith tonight, against the Dogs and other games.... we believed for half a game the rest of the year.

I dont think JT is a genuis, but the Taylorball ideology wasnt at full tilt from round one, it was always going to be a gradual process. Our defence tonight wasnt out of nowhere, it was off the foundation layed for months.

Taylor wont be the best thing since sliced bread until we do that week in week out. But to say you didnt see the fruits of his labour in any of our good games, such as tonight, is stupidity.

Actually the difference is we are allowed to try things in attack now. Last week our execution was terrible, this week we were better, and had more variety so the Storm found it hard to shut us down. Whilst Brooks stats look terrible he added variety tonight.

Mate i don't need a run down of how our Club is going or what we need to do . It was a little joke and that is it .

Cause some don't rate JT as a Coach they are wishing our Club to do no good . Right oh !!!!

Listen to what they are saying about the Broncos this year. They have built base of confidence in defence and this has helped their attack. You need to be able to hold teams to under 14-16pts to win games consistently. Last year we gave up 30+ pts so Taylor identified this as a priority area….

Looked to me they played exactly the same as against the Rorters and Broncos….Difference was against the Storm we completed at 80 odd % and scrambled much better in defence...

The difference was we won the penalty count and the Storm dropped the ball 14 times.

I dont know…. It just seems like many punters took Taylor too literally at the start of the year... he even tried to clarify, explaining he wasnt trying to stifle enterprising play, though was intensively working on defence.

Potter had the same mandate, he said something along the lines of " you have to earn the right to attack", or something close.

Sometimes we get the balance right. Two coaches in a row have worked towards the same goal. Play the percentages until you achieve the field position to have a propper dig... that means defend well.

I think tonight boils down to Moses breaking through of late. To be honest he has lifted his involvement, and we have been more offensively potent to match. It doesnt seem confined to moments with ball in his hand either, he has been alot more solid in def as well.

Taylors super simplified early season game plans seem to have thrown people off thinking they were the end destination. They were the platform.

I am just happy we won the game being Woods (Legend) 100th and we might actually see a smile from our coach. Too much doom and gloom in the world.
