Te Marie Martin --> Penrith

Tigers need quality young forwards, not more halves.

As good as Martin may turn out to be, Moses is the future for the team.

Just how many good halves do you think we've got Thunderlips, and where are we hiding them?

We are hiding them in our current starting line up in jerseys 6 and 7

I love Te Maire, And am gutted he isn't staying….

But he's Kiwi born and came to us from Keebra. He's not one of our Juniors as such...
And weather it be now or when he's 22 he was always a chance of going.

I don't have the same faith we will hang onto those guys, Like I do with the Woods, Brooks, Moses etc.
It's the maths of it all really, I can't imagine anyone here would have preferred to sign Te Maire and go without 2nd rowers and strike centres for the next 3 years? - Would you?

Priorities people... Priorities.

Bookmark this thread. I cannot WAIT to see what happens in two or three seasons, if Martin comes good and all the hindsight kings come back to complain.

Or even better, if he turns out to be average and all the complainers forget how strongly they objected.

For an even quicker satisfaction dig up the threads from when we let Austin go.

All those he can't play experts are looking pretty silly.

The ones who cried the loudest were right.

Just as they will be here.

Ive got the same opinion as Demps and a couple of others, this guy is a future superstar.

It's too early to call him a future superstar…Brooks and Moses were arguably in better form than Martin at the same age and level. I've seen Martin make mistakes, which means he still has developing to do, but that's not to say he won't be a superstar, but I find it ironic that people are so dismissive and critical of Moses and Brooks but are not to Martin...i'm a fan of all three though.

As I said, bookmark it. You'll have your moment, or someone else will have one on you.

I agree with this. I think all 3 could turn into top players. It'll be interesting though if any of them actually do turn into top level players.
