@ those claiming Wade Mac has only had 1 x bad game after last night's performance.
He's ONLY played 2 x good games since he's been at WT.

McKinnon has played at best 2 average games this season. Anyone picking him has to put themselves up there as being great readers of the game and being part of the all time great calls on this forum.

I'd put 2 calls above McKinnon being a good fullback:

1\. Ellis being a pillow.
2\. Benji being a dud.

We now have a third:
3\. McKinnon is a good fullback.

Bravo fellow supporters. You have given me another golden moment to remember.

Rule out Dwyer and Fulton. Neither will play.

Correct. Fulton has automatically been ruled out of this game after suffering two concussions in consecutive weeks. Dwyer, well i just hope he makes a successful recovery.

1\. McKinnon (He won't be dropped and Tedesco is no chance of making his debut this season)
2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford
4, Lawrence
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Al Schirnack

16\. Fifita
17\. BMM

God i cannot belie ve some on this forum still want Moltzen and Lui in the team look at last nights game when asked to stand up no way they are not up to nrl standard . Look at last weeks game two minutes to go Moltzen kicks the ball into touch gives the storm the ball ,god help us if Benji has a long time on the side line with injury because these two cannot be counted on to get the team going bring Miller in and dont restrict him like last night . I never thought i would live to see a tiger team play a brand of footy of five on player hit ups then kick a good way to loose support great crowdes the last two weeks and they turn on that garbage and i have been a tiger for 56 years

We will not win another game if we keep persisting with McKinnon at fullback. The team needs an injection of pace, how many line breaks are made and our backs can`t keep up to capitalise, it`s far beyond a joke.

X2 our backs are to slow. Need speed to capitalise on line breaks.
Especially with Marshall out.

the team against the eels, if they can play to 3/4 of their ability 😛ray: will win.
.
look on the bright side, at least with having a bye, you don't get any injuries from a game , or concede any points.
the players should be refreshed physically hopefully mentally as well. :righton:

Agree with you Vicious. If Mullaney had been playing, we would have scored at least two more tries as he would have been backing up Ellis on both occasions that a break was made.

However I have an awful feeling that Mullaney will be going the way of Lazarus. When Sheens does not like you then you may as well go.

My thoughts, we will never win any comp with Lui and Moltzen in the team. Fulton and Dwyer will not be available for selection. I would not risk Lawrence this year. Give him until next year to recover. This view will not be popular but I think it will be a short term loss for a long term gain. Remember Mr T?

1\. Mckinnon
2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller
8\. Fifita
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Ellis
12\. Gibbs
13\. Heighington

14\. Moltzen
15\. Woods
16\. BMM
17\. Utai

What I want to see:

1\. McKinnon
2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete (kid seems to be scoring at will in NYC. Give him a go I reckon, we're desperate for pace.)
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller (Provided that Miller actually sees the ball and doesn't get cut out of the movements by Marshall & Farah.)
13\. Heighington
12\. Ellis
11\. A. Schirnack
10\. Galloway
9\. Farah
8\. Gibbs

14\. Fifita (Use him in the second row, hitting the fringes.)
15\. Woods
16\. BMM
17\. Groat (A good game for him to get a roll on.)

What I expect to run out:

1\. McKinnon
2\. Brown
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui
13\. Heighington
12\. Ellis
11\. A. Schirnack
10\. Galloway
9\. Farah
8\. Gibbs

14\. Fifita
15\. Woods
16\. BMM
17\. Moltzen

While Wade Mckinnon is not the best fullback in the NRL I think he is the safest option we have at The Tigers…...at the moment:
He is averaging close to 130m per game - and he is generally in a good position for kick returns and bombs (much better than Ryan and Moltz - Brown was safe back there too) He supports well although has lost a lot of pace.

1 - McKinnon
2 - Brown
3 - Lawrence
4 - Ayshford
5 - Utai
6 - Marshall
7 - Lui
8 - Woods
9 - Farah
10 - Galloway
11 - Ellis
12 - Gibbs
13 - Hieghno

14 - Fifita
15 - BMM
16 - Groat
17 - Molta/Ryan

we can only 😛ray: that there is not a performance like that again.
going to need at least 5 wins from remaining 9 games to have any chance of finish 7th or better.

Sheens did say that "beyond a shadow of a doubt" Fulton would not be playing the Eels. 2 concussions in 5 days, scary scary stuff.

We all all comment that we lack speed in the backs and yet everyone is still picking Ryan, Utai and Brown on the wings. look all 3 guys try really hard but for mine next week you pick 1 of those 3 on the wing and on the other wing you have Koroibete (I would have him outside Lawrence till Lote is back).

Once Lote is back I would start both Fijians on the wing. Imagine Ashyford with a quick and strong winger outside him.

Yes he is raw but he is lighting quick and from what I have seen has a lot of skills. As he develops he is going to be a great player.
