I think the point is Taylor should have known that this would have happened when he made the decision. He can't make a decision like this then complain that it has distracted the team at an important part of the season.

Spot on. When our season implodes the people behind this mess and the timing of it should man up and face the supporters to explain why this decision was made at such an important stage of the season.
Hope our team can keep their heads and finish the year off strongly but I have massive doubts of that being the case. We have proved to be extremely fragile mentally in recent season's, this type of circus cannot help our cause.

Total agree. WTs management should have known this would happen. If they didn't they are very ignorant.
The timing of their decision couldn't have been any worse. A decision not to play your strongest team when you have a chance of making the finals was always going to be divisive. Obviously some players and a lot of fans were going to angry and upset.
Now after a huge turn up for a ISC game combined big win, In front of alot of media people. Now they are going to be in overdrive pumping the news articles out about us.

I don't see any evidence that JT has complained about what happened at the ISP match yesterday. I'm sure he's not happy, - some of the signs and sentiment was below the belt - but he'll be smart enough not to do it publicly.

If I was Farah, i'd be taking the high moral ground on this. I know emotions are in overdrive, but instead of his post match comments to the media yesterday, he should have said he disagreed with the decision, but the coach made a call and will do everything he can to get back in 1sts.

Also JT and Pascoe made it clear that this was the selection decision for 'this' week. Outcome will be reviewed and Farah is in the frame for selection every week.

Personally i'd like to see him back and off the bench, but he won't help his cause

Of course JT justified his decision to drop Farah by saying "it's just for this week, for the rest of the season he is eligible for selection"….. RF was a million to one of getting another game in 1st grade this season (even before his spray at WT yesterday arvo).
If Farah was seen to be stifling our halves and was dropped for this week for that reason alone, unless Brooks and Moses weren't going to play anymore this year then RF was never gonna be picked.
I hope Brooks and Moses lift their game big time today, if they are the ones doing the whinging behind the scenes they need to carry the weight and expectations of our club- just like Farah has had to do for many years.
If our club is being accused of letting RF run the club in years gone by (which I agree he has), it now seems like maybe Brooks and Moses are getting their own way so we will be caught in another power struggle once their experience and ego's grow with time.
Over to you now our 'superstar' halves, time for you to stand up like men and win a few games for our club, there is no safety net now and no-one left to cop the blame if we fall on our faces yet again.

I agree FTB that broses need to payback on the vote of confidence that JT has given them. I wouldn't rule out a Farah return though.

Farah has sealed his own fate after his post-game comments yesterday Mac. I would be absolutely astonished if he plays 1st grade again while JT is coach.

Robbie was ok, not brilliant, but was good. Passed from the ground maybe half the time but also went himself on numerous occasions only to flick some random no look pass 10m behind which someone had to dive on. Got some try assists through non-existent goal line defence rather than outstanding playmaking abilities.

Jordan Grant was excellent. Played big minutes, scored a huge try at a crucial part of the game (despite not having had a breather yet) and was solid in defence.

Addo Carr looked dangerous everytime he touched the ball. Chee Kam was quiet in the first half but was more involved in the second. The wide men very rarely saw any ball.

Sirro was ok as well. Not a barnstorming game by any means, but tackled well, went into first receiver a few times like ET does, so he could show off some skills. Made some half busts but always seems to get tackled an inch from the line. Amazing that someone his size can't power over the line more than he does.

Most of the team were decent today. They did lose concentration for large parts of the first half but in general they played well against a decent side.

Some of the fans there today weren't totally disgraceful though. I hope none of them ever come to another NSW Cup game again. It was the Tigers v Jets, not Robbie v the Jets. Chating "Robbie, Robbie" after every try or at every stoppage isn't exactly encouraging to the rest of the team that have put in the hard yards all season long. Support the team (in all grades) not individuals.

I really hope the focus on Robbie doesn't distract the team from their goal of a premiership.

Looking purely at the highlights, those must have been some of the easiest try assists Farah will ever get. Had no idea just how big Jordan Grant is!

Agree with your thoughts BB…Given MCK size and experience I can't understand why they would not use him instead of Lovett in NRL . Can more effectively cover 2nd row and centre

You mean affect team cohesion?

Well yes there's that component. A bunch of relative nobodies working hard towards a goal then suddenly a senior player gets dropped, the game plan changes and a media circus is there at every match. Such a massive turn of events couldn't not be a distraction for what was previously a team on a very strong upward spiral.

Still they won on the weekend, and having an Origin level player should help them more often than not.

Still it was also disappointing that Cherrington only got 20 mins in his comeback. Won't be playing any first grade unless there's injuries if that's the time he's getting off the bench.
