1.Beau Ryan…...still ran 181m...he will bounce back from that bomb
2\. Lote Tuqiri....growing with every game, and will be out to cement the Qld's jumper
3\. Blake Ayshford...needs a rocket sent up him this week, to fire up
4\. Chris Lawrence....run faster and harder son
5\. Sean Meaney ( Goalkicker & very safe hands....Benji can't even kick 50% at training...please take those duties off him)

6\. Benji Marshall....please practice practice practice your general kicking game , now that Meaney will take the conversion worries off your sweet head
7\. Robbie Farah.....Sheens won't change him from there as Lui won't be back, as hints have already been sent out

8\. Bryce Gibbs....had a much better safe game yesterday...kept it simple
9\. Liam Fulton ...his best game, and keep the ruck as tight as a duck's backside
10\. Keith Gallaway....getting better, will be our best forward against Soths
11\. Todd Payten......the forwards are better with him there
12\. Gareth Ellis.......Hope he ends his career with us
13\. Chris Heighington...in career form...Folkes has done a great number on his game

Interchange:
14\. Arana Tamauta....hopefully our X Factor...hopefully rip up Campbelltown next Saturday as a warm up ti first grade
15\. Andrew Fifita.....one word...destructive
16\. Mark Flanagan...had a great defensive game yesterday
17\. Junior Moors...only because he is in our top 25, otherwise a State Cup forward , I would have been picked

This side would be near unbeatable imo! Great team selections… I rate Moors though, he's played well in the limited game time he's recieved as of late....

1/A kicker2/the b graders gone3/A strong bench4/ if this is the team we beat SOUTHS

3 changes for the Souths game are a MUST:

1) Lui back at Half…
2) Fitzhenry sacked with either Meaney or Brown(both can kick goals)
3) The bench: Payton, Fifita, Flanagan, Tamauta

And USE ALL 17 players!!! the fact we play 15 on 17 goes against us...can't the coaches see that???

We shall meet the largest pack in the NRL with the lightest bench in the NRL

You guys have no idea…
Why don't you adopt the Sheens rule of thumb after a win...NEVER MAKE A CHANGE after getting the two competition points...
After the bye, you should all be naming the same team that ran out against the Roosters..

Lui wont be back….unless you mean Issac Lui....

I love how every other club has players returning early from injury, but you can always guarantee a week or to added to any listed return date for our players.

Unfortunately you are more than likely right Smeg. I can't see Sheens changing his selection policy and people calling for Mullaney to be included in first grade, please don't kid yourselves. Yes he is good running around with players his own age where the game is a lot more open. He will be murdered in FG where the extra speed, skill, discipline and toughness will sort him out real quick. His defence is not up to scratch either which is the main concern.

1). Ryan
2). Tiquri
3). Ayshford
4). Lawrence
5). Pritchard
6). Marshall
7). Taumata or Lui
8). Gibbs
9). Farah
10). Galloway
11). Payten
12). Ellis
13). Heighnington
Interchange:
14). Fifita
15). Fulton
16). Flanagan
17). Moors

I'm assuming that Lui won't be available as he was in a moon boot yesterday.

1). Mullaney
2). Tuqiri
3). Ayshford
4). Lawrence
5). Ryan
6). Marshall
7). Fulton
8). Gibbs
9). Farah
10). Galloway
11). Davis
12). Ellis
13). Heighnington
Interchange:
14). Fifita
15). Payten
16). Mataka
17).Taumata

Shouldn't we be naming the same team that ran out against the BYE? i.e. blank sheet?

What a load of crap. He has been the best under 20 player for the past 2 years. Leading point scorer, leading try scorer, the best back up player since Lamb and you say he could not play first grade. Well he could do no worse than some of the players running around at the moment. If you think that Lawrence and his centre partner,Fitzhenry, Flanagan are playing first grade standard football, then you are delusional.

Mullaney must be in the side. Let me tell you that if he had been, he would have scored from the Ryan break last week and the Fifita break on Sunday. That would have been a win in both games.

The Storm and the Raiders have included under 20's players in their first grade teams and those players are going great. So much so that the fullback from Canberra is in the Country team. He was not half as good as Mullaney.

Wise up.

Did you watch him play against the Sharks at Gosford? He was owned by the worst team in the comp and cannot tackle to save himself against NRL players. Keep deluding yourself all you want though, it's quite funny.

is he suffering from 2nd year syndrome?

Not really but it's a massive step up from NYC to first grade. There's not a lot of Mullaney and he struggles in defence against kids his own age. He dropped a bomb against the Panthers the other week and it was not as difficult a take as what Ryan had yesterday arvo too. Ramp it up to NRL level and it spells trouble. Fantastic support player or not, he'll get hammered in first grade. If he can do what Lachlan Coote did and pile on 8 or 9 kilos then I'd throw him in there.

Probably forgetting someone but here goes:

1 - Ryan
2 - Tuqiri
3 - Ayshford
4 - Lawrence
5 - Finau or maybe Mullaney
6 - Marshall
7 - Lui
13 - Heighington
12 - Ellis
11 - Fulton
10 - Gibbs
9 - Farah
8 - Galloway
–------------------------
14 - Taumata
15 - Fafita
16 - Flanagan
17 - Payten

If that's true that is a good thing.Give him a feel of what it's like playing against older players & if he handles it throw him into first grade.
Sorry Willow but he is miles ahead of the quality players in NYC & if he struggled in a trial so what,it was only a trial.
I don't buy this rubbish that he is too small. Its time for the step up

Well said!!!

Some of the drongos on this forum have a problem with size (let's not go there).

If they were selectors they would not have picked, Churchill, Johns, Parish, Lockyer (who still is not a great defender), Hodgeson et al.

Some would not know a footballer if they fell over one. God give me strength.
