As much as I hate Souffs, after seeing Benji's gutless and pathetic team selection I had to change my avatar, at least for the time being to express my disgust. 🤮
Think we lost by a combined 100 nearly last week across both grades. Shuffling deck chairs.

We do know what went on in the meeting cos the drunk Paul Kent got the briefing notes from Isaac Moses
From the 8.55 ish minute mark the Defamation begins and runs for about 27 minutes. PVL must ban Moses for life after this disgusting hatchet job.

I don't know what I would do but let's look at the possible reasons Benji could have had for picking him:
1. He's the best available halfback
2. we need to make sure AD retains his value. If we shove him in reserve grade, Moses will be on the phone agitating for a release.
3. If we do want to move him on, we lose any sort of leverage if we make it look like we don't want him here. He's with us for 3 more years at probably half the value of most other halves.
4. If AD was to leave, there's no way we get anyone for less than a million for 2027 and we are left with an extremely inexperienced halves.
Obviously the other side of it are the intangibles like culture and lack of leadership.
It's a tough decision imo and not just a matter of punish the bugger because of what he did.
I'd still have Javon at 5/8 and Luai at center though.

Well, firstly, I will just say that I hate Kent with a passion. But, I am aware that he is suffering from a severe illness.
None of that should mitigate the fact that this youtube video is a defamation case waiting to happen. He has basically abused the Wests Tigers Club without any evidence. And the only way he could spew out his putrid rubbish was if he was privy to some twisted insider information that has been narrative driven to produce an agenda of intimidation and threatens the Wests Tigers Club's integrity.
The only 2 people in the room that would have leaked this garbage to Kent were AD or Isaac Moses. The others in the room were CEO Melloncamp, Football Manager Pat Richards & Coach Benji Marshall. Do the math. Isaac Moses has form with his destruction of the Galvin relationship using his school boy dobby sheet.
Extortion is Moses MO. He wasn't there to discuss player position selection nor offer welfare support to Doooeee. He is not on public record as Doooeee's Player Agent/Manager!
The video spends over 27 minutes from Kent describing the related events and the meeting details. Except they were all matters that he got from only one person. At no time did Kent admit to having spoken to Doooeee to get his side of the story! So who gave him the info... Isaac Moses, corruption 101!
From ignoring the fact that Doooeee was supported by a top flight QC, the WT CEO & Pat Richards as Football Manager - instead, Kent defamed Benji cos he wasn't there! He's the coach, not a lawyer!
It is quite simply a hatchet job and Moses and Kent should be banned for life from any NRL activity.

I get the defamation angle ,but the game just won;t work that way .In a way it is the same as Dooeee biting the hand that feeds him

I will wait and see if our CEO has the gonads to take this to PVL or not. Don't hold your breath , 16 minutes into last weeks game - no strip there for anybody to see from Savage . Loved how Cook absolutely ripped it up the establishment during an after game press conference a week or so ago - got to play the numbers . Coach just sat there , no fine for cook bringing the game into disrepute ,would just shine a light on the bias he called out
