I’m hearing Mbye out this week with an ankle injury. Simpkin is on the reserves so you’d expect him to fill in

Our chances just went up a notch.

Even if Mbye is out through injury....why does Madge keep him in the top 17 every week.....because some on here cant see his value as a utility player because there is no depth...he helped Brooks come out of his shell and he has been playing well since,,,the hate on here comes from the lack of football knowledge,replaced by personal opinion because of his salary THAT WASNT HIS FAULT...

It has nothing todo with his salary. It’s todo with his lack of performance and his poisonous attitude.

Thats your opinion Mike which your entitled to...Madge and the selection committee dont see it the same way unfortunately for you..he adds value to the squad,Madge has spoken about the work he does off the field with the young guys as well...I think I will stick with Madges selections...

So in your opinion,he has been used as a fullback,centre,hooker,5/8 and utility on the bench...we have no depth,but he has to go because you say so...irrespective of salary,he has had injuries,never tanked,speaks highly of the team and club,but because you dont rate him he has to go....right...

Remember when the forum consensus was that we shouldn't keep him because he's injury prone.
The theme was that we should throw the bank balance at Harry Grant..........who's constantly out injured.
Oh the irony.

I'd sign Harry grant even if he misses a full year of footy before we got to use him again, he's that good.

I agree with the facts of what you have said, also the forum is very cliquey on certain issues , especially Liddle and Brooks related. Only want to say that even though 2-3 years ago Liddle and Grant were both terrific young hookers coming through and back then Liddle was seemingly slightly the higher rated of the 2 back then that Grant had been the one that has developed and improved the most at this point. Oddly , the Storm tried to poach Liddle as a potential heir to Smith even back when and Liddle said no he wanted to stay a Tiger and that should be worth something .. it would be so satisfying to see Jacob lift again and develop more to grow into the player many good judges felt he has the potential to become… Grant is basically rated now as playing at the level and skill that Jacob was planned or hoped to be at this point. Snake is still young but and has the time and dedication to get there , at least I hope so ….
