You know what shits me...if the players are on a contract with a club at a certain dollar value and there are others on another dollar value and its within the cap then its a fair system...
Where the system fails is that these contracted players get bags under the table ,houses,boats and cars etc...that really have nothing to do with the NRL cap..they are third party deals that should be taxed as we do when we have 2nd or 3rd jobs...absolute garbage...if you want top dollar within the cap ,then play to it and earn it as everybody else has to...sneaky,dirty under the table deals only benefit the players that certain sponsors drool over....that is not a fair system...until this is sorted then we may become a top sporting body on a level playing field...
Take it from me ...3rd party agreements are divisive and detract from the quality of player we need...if your a top worker in a team of workers say packing at a factory,you get the hour wage your entitled to for your input...it doesnt include taking home boxes of canned products that others cant obtain.....simple...
