Interesting, the NSW hooker has not been picked. The #2 Queensland hooker selected instead.
Guys Teddy has only just cracked it for Origin and is trying to nail down one of the most competitive positions on the field.
Couple that with the fact he has never played in the NRL finals series, thus not being exposed to high pressure footy and has had a tough year with injuries. He was long odds to make the squad at this point in time.
Gotta walk before you can run. He is on the right trajectory and a top notch off season may see him as a smokey for next years WC.

Seriously don't see what the fuss is about. He probably does deserve to be there, but i'd rather wrap him in cotton wool over the summer than see him risk potential injury.

I agree that if he is not yet healed then he should not have been picked. However, he is the best fullback by far in Australia and every other big place. As such, if fit, he should have been the first one picked.

I think Mal Meninga is cheating for the matrons to win origin
He picks all the bad NSW players (Dugan & Ferguson) who would'y even get considered for origin. Let alone play origin.
Then Mal picks them for Australia so they are automatically selected for origin.
It took 3 games before Tedesco got the call up. After Ferguson had already played the whole series after international representation.
Mal is cheating and no-one realises it.

Teddy could have played the final few rounds (not getting injured of course, got the tigers in to the finals, and do what parra did in 2009 (except win the premiership), then he would be straight into Kangaroos fullback.

Under JTs coaching and ever since Moses took over play making Teddy has been pushed wider nullifying a lot of his attack.
Canterbury complains Hasler is changing their DNA.
Well Taylor is changing ours and if Moses isn't reigned in we and he will only look good against ordinary sides.
And this year we only beat Brisbane during origin and Cowboys when they played their worst game in two years of the leading teams.
