Tedesco playing for City

James Tedesco has been called into the City side to replace Jarryd Hayne at fullback. Wow, after just four NRL games!

Congrats to the kid.

Reddy has also been called up and will play centre. They must have run out of players.

Replacing Hayne and will start at fullback.

Someone in NSW hierarchy rates him VERY highly. Even with players pulling out through injury left right and centre it is still a massive selection.

Very happy for him. Hopefully it will force Potter's hand to move him to #1 permanently.

Wow. Congrats to Teddy on his call up. Definitely a view to future move here by those in charge. Congrats also to Reddy. Seems a bit odd that's been called up to a rep game but perhaps it was a straight switch Lawry/Reddy. I'm also sure Potter will be thrilled to have Tedesco get 80mins at fullback under his belt. Gives him a real shot at the Brisbane game now.

WOW… I figured he would be the Fullback for the U20's SOO Game with Sirro & Lovett, but thats a big step in his young career.

Jennings has played left centre though , didn't he played left centre in his SOO debut ??

Still think Jamie Lyon should be made to stand down during SOO if he isn't going to play SOO ,but thats another subject for another thread

Congrats to Tedesco and this is an amazing achievement coming back from a knee reco and playing primarily wing for a side which is going backwards at the moment. I reckon he'll go well behind a strong forward pack.

Reddy at centre would be a bigger disaster than we currently have.
Good on Tedesco. Reddy's selection in the team does make it seem like they were running out of options though…
