I hope he signs soon. My source says that he is thinking about signing a contract sometime in his future and possibly with us. I can also reveal that the boys are going to try and win the game this weekend.

I can't reveal my source but lets just say that he has access to the weststigers official website.

I would certainly hope that the boys are going to try and win.

now we have a football fan forum feeding paranoia and fear. How ridiculous is that!

If the information you have posted is such that you need to be careful about who hears it, or you worry about what they may do with that information - then don't post it!

the definition of irony

Sorry Timmy but the only comment I have made in regards to Mayer or the club since we spoke about this last week was in regards to this (possibly this thread or the Fifita one ) was that it was up to Mayer if we do or don't sign him

How that is sticking the boot in I will never know

Why do you keep bringing up who I'm speaking to in regards to this info ??

Does it matter that much ??

Earlier in the thread you were castigating him and casting aspersions on his truthfulness. You also said if we don't re-sign Tedesco then Mayer needs to be held accountable. You are certainly casting him as the villain, though I must confess I conflated some posts of yours with those of others who were vilifying Mayer.

I am bring up who you are speaking to because you seem unable or unwilling to accept that you are hearing one side of the story, and you are hearing it through the prism of whoever you are speaking to. The account you are hearing is inherently tainted by bias and so I'm really not sure how you can make the imputations you are making.

If Tedesco told me in person that the Tigers were not offering fair market value to him I wouldn't blindly accept it and parrot it on here as gospel that Mayer is at fault and mismanaging negotiations. I'd want to know how much was offered and I'd want to know the constraints Mayer is operating under before I reached that conclusion. Wouldn't you?

Well apart from Tedesco himself the main player who will say yay or nay is Mayer

I take it tedesco is still yet to sign and the last 15 or so pages are still about who's more in the know, should I bother to even read back?

The longer this drags on the more i think he could stay, cos he could have easily signed elsewhere by now. Mayer said 2 weeks ago that they were only in the initial stages of talks, so you can only hope that the whole time since then has been devoted to both player and club negotiatig terms.

Yes Please everyone..come on…Grant Mayer has said he is working very hard to sign Tedesco and that Tedesco is number 1 priority.

Nah don't bother mate, paranoia has set in with a few here about whether he will or won't sign up.

Tedesco will do what is right for him. I hope he stays but if he does not, it is not the end of the world.

After all this I doubt whether even Tedesco knows.

All this waiting isn't good for my health :frowning:

I just wish something would be announced, either way (HOPEFULLY our way).

Now now Irvine …. You'll upset Willow !

Grow up Knuckles. I've said on more than one occasion I am confident Tedesco will stay.

This debate is very interesting on another level…maybe the length of time it has taken for a decision is the coaching issue .If James does sign does that mean we have a coach for the next few seasons in Potter! as not having a coach next season would be a major issue at this stage of negotiations .
The coaching issue for a player in his situation would also be of high priority as an offer from another club comes with a premiership winning coach and the stability this brings ,especially for the path to representative level and success,it is not always about money even as it does have a bearing .

On a serious note though, I've heard there will be a big announcement this Sunday being our first home game in the suburbs.
Maybe the resigning of one James Tedesco.
