where are your sources?

I' am sure we would of heard about it if that was happening.

Why would Farah resign then.
If my employer wasn't paying me do you think I would stay or go somewhere else?

What would you do?

Do you think they would play like they did on Sunday if they weren't paid?

Propaganda and conspiracy theories, too much over thinking and trolls…Tedesco will be staying for sure...it's a no brainer!!

Just another post I saw here.

Take it with a grain of salt if you wish, however i have a mate who regularly plays golf with him.

Said he is on a heavily back-ended contract. He was promised a 100K 3rd party deal at the Tigers which they still have not payed him yet plus his annual salary being backloaded. He said in fairness to him that he is training his guts out and helping Brooksey on and off the paddock.

He said the Tigers are amature hour compared to other clubs in terms of facilities and money. Apparently last season things were so bad at times they couldn't afford new footballs or gatorade bottles, and trainers were forced to make mixes of gatorade on the sideline for the finish of training.

He'll stay. If we can pay him at least a match for whatever his highest offer from elsewhere is. Otherwise we're fighting an uneven contest if we have to bring in things other than money as a weapon unfortunately. Would you stay at your current workplace if someone offered you a big salary bump, better work colleagues and a better physical workspace and they couldn't match it?

I reckon as long as we come close to the offered price we will still sign him.
I still think he is unproven per say and he won't be commanding a lot of money.

I also hope we sign nofo, I' am surprised that there is no thread about him at the moment.

I'm currently studying my 3rd degree and anyone worth their grain of salt knows you don't rely on unfounded sources. There is no weight to those comments except the weight you give it. Spinsters!!! they can't afford Gatorade bottles hahah, even I can afford it which just sounds dumb!!! James Tedesco was out for a full season and supported by the tigers boys, what, now he can't help out a fellow youngin in brooks…if that was his attitude then we are better off without him...unfortunately, I don't believe a word of that nonsense and YOU shouldn't either...I got Tedesco resigining and im pretty sure about,,, just a gut instinct!!!

I would have thought someone with two degrees would be capable of using proper punctuation as well. Or are you referring to a 3rd degree black belt in Kung Fu?

are you saying im not studying my 3rd degree? didn't think i was writing an essay but don't change the subject and get back to the point…it's an unfounded statement?!

No I wouldn't want you to beat me up with your black belt Kung Fu.

Yes I never said it was "founded" I said initially that "apparently" Anasta was owed money not "beyond a shadow of a doubt, out of the horses mouth I have COLD HARD PROOF that Anasta is owed money". Didn't quote it as gospel. What would you rather have me just not posted? Pull your head in Bruce Lee.

Nothing to do with Tedesco and I don't know about Gatorade bottles but I have a jurno friend and he told me the same…. some 3rd party payments to senior players have not been payed.

Easts have invested too much time on RTS,and the dogs would already be on or over the 2015 cap,Teddy looks happy, and is a local junior,a decent offer should keep him here with his mates.

ah,,, er….ummmm! how did we get to black belts...classic sign of a troll!! be like water macdougall and cool out!!! me saying that statement has no weight is another way of me saying you probably believe in fairies!!!

I'm off, said what I wanted to say and it's hard to see that Tedesco would be better off anywhere else other than the MIGHTY TIGERS providing the $$$ are suffice..nite nite macdougall! lol

Isn't Blair coming to the end of his stupid contract soon? We've already got Farah and Woods in the bag, and a whole bunch of unerpaid gems.

The priority will be to keep Tedesco and Brooks over all others. But we'll have to lose at least one of Koro, Nofo or Simona. I think our heartbreak will be losing Koro.

I don't mean to sidetrack this thread, but the above statement is just too rich in irony, self-righteousness and inconsistency not to comment on.

Simmo writes: "I'm currently studying my 3rd degree and anyone worth their grain of salt knows you don't rely on unfounded sources".

Yet in the very same post he writes: "I got Tedesco resigining and im pretty sure about,,, just a gut instinct!!!"

And in another post: "… Tedesco will be staying for sure...it's a no brainer!!"

Magnificent stuff.

As for Tedesco, he's a personal favorite and obviously a great player. I'll be disappointed if we lose him, but there's no sense in losing any sleep over what might or might not happen. I'm sure the club will put a good offer forward.

Ayoub is a crafty operator and he uses the same time-honored methods that all agents use when their clients contract is up for renewal. He would be reading this thread and loving what he sees.

The thing is I haven't even heard of the amount of money the tigers or other clubs are prepared to throw at Tedesco. innsaneink? are you telling me that the tigers cannot afford to shell out the salary cap limit? I remember reading an article where Harry Triguboff stated that he would love to pay players of the like of billy slater to come to the tigers, even better, we have Tedesco a local junior who has the anticipation and speed of slater…let's start there!!

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/triguboff-id-love-tigers-to-sign-slater-20101211-18tco.html

Its been well documented the position the club is in compared to others

Believe me, we are running on an oily rag, someone as clever as a 3rd year uni student should be able to do his own research, im not here to educate you….but yeh, lets hope like you do it ''will be all OK in the morning after a good nights sleep"

T-Bone spot on:

Hilarious isnt it

Yeah apparently even Anasta is owed most of what he was entitled to from last year…

The story I read was that a third party deal hasn't come through. A bit like when Gasnier left the Dragons. This was not about the club not making payments. As I understand it, if the club was to "guarantee" the third party obligations, it would cause significant salary cap implications.

If my understanding is correct, this story proves nothing about the club's finances.

You dont seem to realize the state the club is in Simmo

We really have nothing much at all to offer him that will exceed what other clubs offer, as far as I can see

So u know the financial position as fact? You know for sure after playing around with the salary cap jigsaw at the tigers we cannot give him an offer that will exceed others?
