So hopefully we get some real news on these guys this week as we are desperately in need of a big name signing. It's gone very quite on this front

They’re not coming Jonesy

Unfortunately It seems that way.. :face_palm:

Can someone explain to me why they bothered flying over to Brisbane?

They needed to blow a few grand for tax purposes. Otherwise they would have had the meetings the week before when they were already there.

Wouldn't be holding your breath on them being here

As a fan base I believe there is basically zero confidence in the leaders at the club turning it around. In what business do these people retain their jobs when they’re so useless?

I absolutely disagree.

Board probably has no idea, but we have been through a couple of rebuilds in name, yet here we are in the middle of a real one.

Hartigan
Woodward
Juniors
Salary cap fixed......eventually
COE
Revenue positive without leagues club

There is distinct difference to what we have done in the past.

As I understand we are losing at TPJ because we have identified a lack of second base play. That's great call recruitment wise and hints at a change in style.

To steal a phrase, trust the process.... as hard as it is.

Hartigan - explain to me AJ Kepaoa
Woodward - what had he done for us?
Juniors - I support the NRL side
Salary cap fixed......eventually - you hope
COE - incomplete
Revenue positive without leagues club - what has that done for us?

Show me results I’ll give some credit

Juniors - lol good luck with tat as they are not an NRL side
Salary cap - always next year
COE - lol. Always next year
Revenue - probably saved us from Perth

Such positivity there mate.

This club shouldn’t expect positivity from fans it should raise its standards.

And he brought AJ over from his old club, you would think he could get that one right. His other recruits were all blokes with minimal options.

Yeah, thought TPJ had a good game, Isaako did what he had to do.

The news was saying TPJ and Walters do not get on, so there still may be some hope there, not sure how Isaako fairs with him, but they are chasing other players and they need salary cap relief, so who knows, but as others have said, who did they go up and see, if it wasn’t these 2?

T'eo and Gamble....

LOL, I know T'eo played for us, did Gamble? I know the name, but not sure if it's he same bloke?

We gave him a jersey and he showed up ...does that count as playing

We gave 16 other blokes a jersey that day as well and did they count as playing.

He was terrible that day but gee he had a lot of mates.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned that at the time ..we were horrible

I would love an update from someone in the know also but I have come to the conclusion its a no go on both.

@hobbo1 and I ridiculed him and he never played again.

To be fair you and others ridiculed him before he even got that 1 first grade game.

He is no world beater but has shown that he can play at the level.

Untrue.
Judgement isn't cast until there is a reason.

After that 1 game, we saw his defence and how bad he was and then the ridicule began.

He has definitely improved since but to claim players are getting ridiculed before they even take the field is incorrect.
