Walters is not a star, he might not even be a first grader, but I dont get the negativity here for him. He has always put into the best of his ability when able to here.

When he did manage to hit the field for us, I saw him as a VERY similar sort of player to Josh Reynolds and IMO we got as much out of Walters as we did from Reynolds at a small ffraction of the cost.

Harsh Demps, but probably fair. All you want from a bloke is to do his best and I think he did that for us. Just probably not at the level we’d prefer.

Agree with all of that other that Mbye not being a Tiger. This is his 4th season, he has played over 50 games for us and IMO has always put in and seemingly not sulked at being asked to play 5 different positions with no stability.

I have no problem with you or anyone doubting his ability and there is no argument he is getting overpaid massively, but compared to the other pretenders that we got saddled with on massive contracts, Mbye has always put in and contributed where he could.

If he was on $400K I reckon he would be a forum favourite.

These guys turn up and collect their pays with minimal effort.

I can think of 2 games in the last 2 seasons where Mbye looked to sorta try.

I've always said he's an athlete.
Probably better suited to long jump or something.

Nah wouldnt consider myself a fan. I think he is limited in ability but versatile and also...IMO...puts in.

I reckon 5150 is right. We’ve never said “right Mbye, you’re playing ..... position for this season. Not like we’ve said to Brooks you’re half, do your best. Having said that, if he’s poor this week I’ll be screaming for his head....

Sadly for the Tigers, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of love in the air.

For the Broncos to land the signatures of Hodgson and Melbourne fullback Nicho Hynes for 2022, they’ve still got some chopping and changing to come.

Matt Lodge has been told he’s free to go while Corey Oates is the other name we keep hearing.

wouldn't say that. two users known for their inside knowledge confirmed it was on and that discussions have been ongoing for months. the Broncos have this habit of shutting things down and then the opposite occurs. we would not be talking to both players if we weren't given permission to do so, especially with Madge, Hartigan and Pascoe all heading to Brisbane. if it was us sounding them out before November 1 it would've been done privately. Isaako certainly sounds close, as for TPJ, no idea.

I’m with you on that jr, as Kenty mumbled..the scoops get onto the story, then it gets closed down in the best interest of all involved, then months later it’s a done deal. Tevita, Jamayne, Staggs and Jo were the suitable candidates and so far we’ve had a hit and a miss. I can’t hear the well proportioned lady singing yet?
