Walters is not a star, he might not even be a first grader, but I dont get the negativity here for him. He has always put into the best of his ability when able to here.

When he did manage to hit the field for us, I saw him as a VERY similar sort of player to Josh Reynolds and IMO we got as much out of Walters as we did from Reynolds at a small ffraction of the cost.

Walters Grub

By a Looooooong way. Still probably not a first grader

He had 8 games at the tigers.
1 of them was really poor.
The others were decent.

I think he's another Lachlan Lewis type.
Got the name but not the ability.

Played 6 coming through and we used him as a hooker... I don't see much of a future in the game tbh. Better off being local legend for some Q cup team.

Also no hate to him, I like him.
Seems like a good dude but he isn't a tiger, just like Mbye isn't.

He is a storm/SC falcon/whatever team his dads at.

Harsh Demps, but probably fair. All you want from a bloke is to do his best and I think he did that for us. Just probably not at the level we’d prefer.

Agree with all of that other that Mbye not being a Tiger. This is his 4th season, he has played over 50 games for us and IMO has always put in and seemingly not sulked at being asked to play 5 different positions with no stability.

I have no problem with you or anyone doubting his ability and there is no argument he is getting overpaid massively, but compared to the other pretenders that we got saddled with on massive contracts, Mbye has always put in and contributed where he could.

If he was on $400K I reckon he would be a forum favourite.

He's not a tiger and Klemmer isn't a knight.
These guys turn up and collect their pays with minimal effort.

I can think of 2 games in the last 2 seasons where Mbye looked to sorta try.

I've always said he's an athlete.
Probably better suited to long jump or something.

I reckon 5150 is right. We’ve never said “right Mbye, you’re playing ..... position for this season. Not like we’ve said to Brooks you’re half, do your best. Having said that, if he’s poor this week I’ll be screaming for his head....

Hence the Wests Tigers hit and run mission to Brisbane on Wednesday to gauge the interest of Tevita Pangai and Jamayne Isaako about a move to Concord.

Sadly for the Tigers, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of love in the air.

Can’t say we blame them.

For the Broncos to land the signatures of Hodgson and Melbourne fullback Nicho Hynes for 2022, they’ve still got some chopping and changing to come.

Matt Lodge has been told he’s free to go while Corey Oates is the other name we keep hearing.

According to this it’s a bust

Boncos Fans are worse than us.

Self entitled and Spoilt.

I hope we jag TPJ in particular at no real increase in $$ to Spite them.

PS - I hope they get their 2nd Spoon in a row.

Mate every other team's fans are worse than us.

We haven't made the finals for nearly a decade, we are the patron saints of patience mate.

Wests Tigers fans are the epitome of loyalty. Through the bad and the worse.

“Moses currently advises Newcastle coach Adam O’Brien, assistant coach Willie Peters, coaching consultant Anthony Seibold, strength and conditioner Ballin Cupples and enjoys an extremely close rapport with head of recruitment Clint Zammit.

Which is where the Staggs backflip becomes fascinating. Surprise, surprise – Moses also advises Staggs.

And Lodge.”

It appears that Knights will miss the finals.

We all got excited for nothing

wouldn't say that. two users known for their inside knowledge confirmed it was on and that discussions have been ongoing for months. the Broncos have this habit of shutting things down and then the opposite occurs. we would not be talking to both players if we weren't given permission to do so, especially with Madge, Hartigan and Pascoe all heading to Brisbane. if it was us sounding them out before November 1 it would've been done privately. Isaako certainly sounds close, as for TPJ, no idea.

Chris Garry
@ChrisGarry7
The Broncos and Isaako's management are adamant the fullback will remain in Brisbane. They are bemused by the Tigers talk. Regardless of any interest, they say he's going nowhere.

Surely, this is a sure sign we have him?😂😂😂

I’m with you on that jr, as Kenty mumbled..the scoops get onto the story, then it gets closed down in the best interest of all involved, then months later it’s a done deal. Tevita, Jamayne, Staggs and Jo were the suitable candidates and so far we’ve had a hit and a miss. I can’t hear the well proportioned lady singing yet?

I am not getting my hopes up on either happening..
Isaako maybe a 20% chance and TPJ 10%..
Could be a Manager just trying to lift prices etc... But still stumped why you would send 3 officials up on a plane for a 1st up chat to check for interest... I would love to see both and will have fingers crossed but unlikely

So glad we got rid of Moses. He was managing up to 15 players/staff at the Broncos. Look how that turned out.

Can't believe anyone would go after Lodge. Broncos were so stupid in resigning him.
