He isn’t Gould’s type of player. For a large investment of $$$ and year term. He would have to be certain of what he is buying.

With their salary cap the way it’s moving, if you lock up TPJ as well as the other big contracts already signed. There’s not a lot of wiggle room to place his stamp on the market short term.

Gould made big money purchases at Penrith to get the ball rolling. Tamou being one and he also went very hard for Thurston, got Maloney. He will spend the money to tie them over until the pathways start producing.
End of the day for TPJ i think the appointment of Gould makes the Dogs a lot more attractive all of a sudden.

As long as he isn't muscling in on our pathways - he has always had a soft spot for the SW of Sydney. Sheens on the other hand couldn't give a rats about the area. Hope his attitude has changed a bit.
