So I'm assuming this thread is dead in the water now..
I think after our lovely performance on Saturday he would be looking anywhere but here or even staying at broncos. I cannot blame him either..

I only hope out recruitment team are not sitting there mulling over a 20k difference with an agent and we miss out because of it.. Not just for TPJ but any top line players because if they have one keen to come here they should be showering them with love and getting them signed anyway they can.. We just need 1 to start the domino effect.
Hell if they need me to start a Go Fund me Page to help I will be happy too.

You need to learn some patience, man.

The only concern is he’s manager doesn’t want him to come from a struggling team to another, so the weekend result didn’t help our cause.

Oh but the week before it was all fine? What about if we win next round?

Pangai is on 600k this year and 800k next year.
Broncos are willing to pay 350k next year and have already paid half this years salary. I’m told it will happen Broncos have leverage over Pangai stemming from last years incident.

If the Tigers can get Pangai on 450k a season he’s worth the risk and can be a game breaker.
Broncos have overpaid forwards Pangai, Lodge, Haas and bent their cap out of shape.

This move is wise whilst he is a loose cannon and gets suspended he’s very strong and rarely is not one of the best forwards on the field. I’m all seriousness he’s better than any forward we have.

The weird argument I am hearing is Pangai doesn't "address Tigers' need for stability and leadership". OK but he certainly addresses our need for explosive power, game-changing ability and second-phase. Unless we are talking about only having salary cap space for 1 player, can't we sign both an aggressive forward and a durable reliable experienced forward?

As they say "why not both?"

I agree with this. We have several weaknesses that need addressing, Pangai absolutely addresses one of them. Hope we get him.

Tells you everything about short attention span of some fans!

Told it will happen by a reliable source?

Would definitely be a huge plus for us.

Yep. There will be more carnage for broncos club is more toxic than the tigers under Jason Taylor. Good young players also want out Hetherington, Farnworth, Beullemor and other senior players being told to leave.

Are we giving them Billy because that will surely ease a toxic culture bringing in the coaches son who isn’t an overly good footballer ?

I've met Billy Walters, really nice solid young bloke, whatever you think of him as a footballer.

Comes across as a really nice guy and is incredibly knowledgeable about the game, he really impressed me and I think he will make an excellent coach one day. Not a great player though

wasnt suggesting it in a way that was a flaw in Billy's character, i was suggesting "if" the culture is toxic as been reports. Bringing in the coaches son could be seen as nepotism furthering some of their woes potentially.

There you go!!! The demountables ain't so bad after all...

No but the COE is amazing, honestly I have been in the demountables and they are so much better than the old facilities.

I was thinking they met him at the Airport and pulled out the building plans

They have a virtual walk through that shows what it is going to be like. It is on a different planet to what this club is used to.

again why do the fans know nothing, apart form the special few? easy to post it online, its not a state secret

Probably because Cochise is a little closer to the club than your average fan.

Granted it'd be nice to see some advertised progress pics and the like, but they are probably waiting until it's completed and then will have fans open day.

Lol, someone must have read your post mate.

No I wasn't implying any toxicity, just saying I've met him and he's a good guy. Kind of a shame he's not as good a footballer as he is a positive representative for the club.

I believe Phar Lap’s heart is still on display in the Museum - transplant anyone?

If he does opt for Roosters on 300k then we'd go hard for Liu, Toupinoua, Taukeiaho. They can't all be on the field at the same time.

Did I read somewhere where they said this should be ready around Xmas ?
Looking at the development I would think that date is no chance

Someone suggested Pascoe reads stuff on here dunno how true it is but you never know. IMO if he does read stuff on here he should have been aware of the fact that he looks as though he sleeps in his car :flushed:
