THE AMBUSH - Show Your Stripes..

Yeah I
He goes to an awful lot of trouble to tell folks we’re not worthy 😂
Yeah I know the feeling.....good thing is I like being me,and I like my forum friends to be themselves, its what makes this such a wonderful world even though there is a lot of crap going on atm....it will pass ...and the WTs will become the great club it should be..all good things take time to achieve....🙂👍

We are one big dysfunctional family. Im sure we’d have each other’s backs if any outsiders from other clubs tried to mess with us 💪

Pascoe made it clear is was his preference and not the boards, but he said last week that he want to return to just using Campbelltown and Leichhardt and that he wanted Campbelltown upgraded.

G'day Cochise, directly opposite the COE there's a park an oval a tennis and netball courts, all combined the whole site would be equal or maybe larger than the commbank site,
I'm sure someone at the WT would have looked and thought of it as a potential new Stadium site, do you know if there has been any discussions about this before.

it seems like an ideal site being right next to the COE.

Unless of course you like playing tennis or netball?

We don’t need anymore stadiums near the M4

I miss the 90’s at Ctown. Before they upgraded the station when there was the train crossing. Everyone would be squeezed in like sardines after the game, and the bell would go off, signalling a train was coming and everyone would boo.
Yeah those were the days. I still remember that quite clearly as we used to park on airds road. I had a mini magpies membership in those days which cost $4 for entry into all our home games

Hahaha, Of course the proposed plans would have to include to accomodate them too,

But actually on second thoughts, i think the COE has now cemented the WT future in the inner west region,

The WT must also cement it's future with the south west region and that is either by upgrading the CSS, or choose one of the many available sites for a new Stadium in that region.

Surely the fact there’s an A League team based in Ctown justifies an upgrade. The other 2 stadiums in the west Parramatta and Penrith have received upgrades (Penrith at the end of the season), so why not Ctown?

Not a lot of people i know from sydney metro area are going to drive an hour to the game/hour back or spend 2 hrs on the train for that matter .. Liverpool is far enough in all honesty. Im dreaming, but it would be nice to buy out the plots from the old golf range at hen and chicken bay to st lukes. Concord HS and netball clubs can use the COE indoor rec facilties for netball

If we have a successful side they will. 05 was proof of that

It's about 1 hour on the train and the walk from station to stadium is less than 5 minutes. Compare that to SFS or even Parra stadium where you have to walk for almost 30 minutes from station.

LO is one of the worst grounds to get to via public transport.

I've never understood the belief that Campbelltown is "too far".. I can understand it being very far if you're coming from the other side of the bridge but it takes just as far from any other Sydney, western sydney or inner west suburb, that has direct lines to even Strathfield.

Thanks professor of the net...victim cards are good, especially if someone is accused of being a victim, when its far from the truth....
Grow up zig

While i agree with the gist of what you're saying, its still 1 1/2 hours from strathfield station to ctown according to google, and thats assuming you live in strathfield or walking distance of the station. Plenty of people have to catch buses into the city to get onto the line to go back out west, thats another half hour at least. Im not trying to come across ass uppity, ive caught the train just to watch trials in the past.. We start winning and the people will come from everywhere ..
