England have played very well. Lots of cricket to go but winning the first test is a big head start.

Aussies can't play on any deck that has no pace in it. I thought maybe that this series might be the one where they stand up and show they aren't one dimensional but it looks like this series is going the same way as 2013\. This side is nowhere near the side people think they are, they only know how to dominate on one kind of pitch. Not to mention they make the QLD origin team look like a bunch of whipper snappers in comparison. So many players 33+. Johnson is a myth who gets proven as a one trick pony any time there's no life in the pitch and he can't intimidate. He's the definition of a flat track bully, idk how more people don't see it. And as far as Haddin goes, his snide comments before the match about how he was confused about why the poms were so confident, you wonder if that was the attitude of the whole team.

I think Shane Watson is a fabulous asset in the Aussie side .
He's taken playing French cricket to the highest level
