The away jersey

FYI- I got this reply from the NRL re ANZAC jersey/ticket sales for ANZAC weekeend etc

"Thanks for your enquiry.

Across Round 8 we will have RSL representatives collecting donations at every match.

The NRL will also be donating $1 from every ticket sold to the Australia V New Zealand test match to the RSL in Australia and the NZ equivalent.

NRL clubs can also opt to donate their club jerseys if they choose to.

I hope that this assists with your enquiry and thanks for your support of the game.

Kind regards

Ruth
Supporter Liaison"

I wouldn't imagine that it would last longer than a year. I'd say we'll have a new alternate Jersey next year.

For goodness sake another one of these threads? Haven't we discussed this ridiculous issue enough? This topic has been discussed ad naseum. We know who likes it and dislikes it already.

Just merge all the threads. Theres like 10-15 pages of the same comments from the same people…. /facepalm

Gee im sorry ur bored,I was just interested in the actual percentage.

May i suggest if u are bored on other threads dont read them, pretend they dont exist.

I do that with the news and current affairs shows…havent watched them in years and im not missing a thing!

they can muck around with the actual design all they want and they probably will for the foreseeable future but please don't muck around with the colours that represent us.

there are 3 colours in our make up, doesn't matter where we're from or where we're going.

grey is not part of our history or our future.

if we're designing jerseys to pander to the minority whom might or might not consider purchasing one then we have real problems.

Garbage.

Whomever designed it should have their head stuck on a spike outside ISC as a reminder to others.

Surely you don't actually believe that tripe from Mayer that the club didn't have a say in it.

I really like it and everyone that has seen me wear it likes it !

It might not be a fair representation of our club/brand but if you were to put that to the side for 2 seconds, the jersey design is awesome.

That is why so many non-tiger supporters like it. They couldn't care less about the colours they just like the design.

It's a jersey aimed at the Gen-y non traditionalists who couldn't care less about colours and just want to buy something that looks good. To the new generation of Wests Tigers supporters, this jersey looks good. I would say that is why the jersey is proving popular in sales.

Its a jersey for Christ's sake

It hasn't missed a tackle , dropped a bomb , given a penalty away , made a bad defensive decision , made a bad coaching call

If you like it , buy it

If you don't , don't buy it and wear one of the jerseys you do like

THISSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If someone created a poll on an orange jersey, they'd most likely get lynched, most likely by Simon himself. So excuse me if i don't find this thread ironic given who created it.

On the jersey, i'm starting to think that's who was on the grassy knoll. I don't think its as bad as people make out but that's my opinion. If you don't like it, more power to you, we don't have to agree.

I swear some of you metrosexuals try the jersey on , parade round it for 10-15 minutes like a peacock and then ask your girl friends "Does it make me look fat ?? "

The general consensus I have gathered from non-Tigers fans is that they dislike it as much as we do.

I like it so much I bought one mainly because it's different.

Mrs likes it and my 3 kids all like it and all want one.

I voted yes and no, just because its not every day you see a poll with 2 options where you can select both. I thought I better take the opportunity.

I'm not a fan of the jersey though.

Has nothing to do with the design - its the colour.

Who cares if a certain jumper sells or not or if the Non Tiger supporters like or don't like the jumpers.

The jumper should be us, our colours and our identity.

If Mayer thinks the club who is paying for the design / colour didn't have a say!
He would be joking of course. If not, then we need a new designer or a new CEO.
