I agree with your assessment. It'd be better if we had a 13 who could cover us defensively and get metres or add something to the team and we don't have that player.

So to answer your first question we won't have a grass cutter who can roam and just fix holes in the defense.

I think Blore is the only guy who looks like he can really hit them consistently and as you state we can't rely on him.

When it comes to bending the line we are going to just hope that 6 big, immobile, forwards will do the job. That'll have to come from Aloiai, Tamou, Twal, Musgrove, Packer, Mikaele, Stef and Seyfarth.

Then I assume LL, Blore, Garner and MCK will have to do the job on the edges.

Great post. Blore is indeed the great hope.

Garner and MCK are both notorious arm grabbers though, we would better with both gone. I am really disappointed we lost Sam Mc as I rate him vastly better than both of them...

Blore isn’t signed beyond 2021. Just sayin’

We have a handful of players that we need to retain and he is one of them.

Billy Magulias fits the bill perfectly and can be another ball playing lock similar to Jim Dymock

Dymock was several classes above Billy, but he would add some variety.

With Josh either gone or heading for state cup, the balance is really dangerously out of whack IMO now.

James Tamou hit it up with vigor and worked hard all season....but he normally did the basic carries after Fisher Harris bent the line and with their other wrecking balls. In our current pack, Tamou won't have much impact. We need to find a wrecking ball to put next to him.

He couldn't get a run at the Sharks and they need a 13. I don't want WTs buying an ISP level player for more $ than McIntyre was on. I'd rather use our 13 from the Storm.

No matter how us one eyed WT Supporters think on paper our pack looks very weak and we would need to play to their 100% potential each and every week and escape serious injuries. Josh will be a big loss and was one of my favourite players so not happy with recent turn of events.
