I remember we cried out for a coach who would lose his s#$t. How wrong were we. There’s only so much of that you could do. You look at the great coaches like Bennett and Bellamy and they are much more measured. I know Bellamy goes nuts in the coaches box, but i’ve never seen him do that addressing the players.

Seeing as how it’s rare they hardly ever play badly, it’s easy to miss. As a coach who hasn’t missed a final series in 20 years (2010 aside), and won multiple premierships, he can make it work. Madge, even though he’s a premiership winning coach himself, does not have the same aura.

Its hard to quantify, but our lack of success has less to do with effort, and more to do with the minute aspects of the game.
Case point is Farrah. Quality player, never doubting his will, nor effort, though he was consistently playing us too skinny ( we ran too many props per set, tight to the ruck and lacked the width to penetrate. Look at Woods, 200m+ per game at 8m< per run. Zero penetration, or ptb speed).
Interchange should have been way better, even delegated if it was necessary, though honest quality depth was lacking. Not excuses. It will take someone special to turn us around and remedy the macro's whilst running the game. It is difficult to see our issues, yet glaring being a long term supporter.
A fans jimmies are fragile, especially now, though players have to be worse with this pressure.
Calls are easy from armchairs.

Well you don't watch many of their games. It's not about losing for them, If they aren't perfect Bellamy is ripping a new one.

Recently maybe, though for mine the best of Maguire was a long time before he arrived at WT and sadly for many, nature has plenty of people ageing similarly from their mid forties.
Apparently madge gets $800k payout so he's doing ok .So long live the new king whoever the bloody he'll that is Noddy,Ciraldo, Johnny etc

Just saw the Cleary is a Wanker video in another thread. That has to be one of the best moments in Tigers history. Success will never bring us fans together (coz we likely will never have any) but a common enemy will.
Doesn't matter how long it's been- whenever we win against a Cleary team, we need to do that chant.
