The Campbelltown Factor....

I live pretty much equidistant from Leichhardt and Campbelltown and the SFS/SCG is not that much further. I am used to travelling so it doesn't seem a big deal to me

Since going to the game in Auckland last year, everywhere seems like a walk down the road to me! … except Leichhardt really is only a 10minute walk for me!

I travel over an hour to work everyday. I would travel 1,000 times further for a Tigers game.

great to hear…...when we take home games to Bejing......we'll be there....

I'm won't be there. The tigers have got to start proving to me they can win some matches until I start travelling all the way up to Campbelltown.

Hi CC

I think this is called "bandwagonning"?!! True supporters follow their team through thick and thin.

I can't believe that our State Cup teams are not playing at Campbelltown this weekend. What a disgrace!
Our reserve grade players deserve better!

The NSWRL didn't want a senior team starting at 10am

A joke really. I bet if you asked the players they would prefer to play at Campbelltown than Leichharse Oval

Judging by the story on thw clubs official site it seems as though we could be heading for a potential sellout. They have stopped Jnr League cards from getting in after 12:45am.

I would assume they think it could be sold out by then.

What a great result if it does - we should expect nothing less from our suburban grounds.

Can't wait till they fix the railway overpass - i get sick of seeing my train/s pull out while i'm stuck in the crowd trying to get onto the overpass - i take it it is not finished yet.

You have been able to walk over the railway line for years now. There is even a lift. I think the second overpass they are going to build is going to be a bit further down the line north of where the station is because there is a large carpark on the west side of the line north of where the station is. I think the second overpass they are going to build is from that large carpark straight to the Stadium.

Council’s contribution to further stadium upgrades include an allocation of up to $450,000 for the resurfacing of the adjoining athletics track, **and a $1 million project in partnership with Wests League Club for a pedestrian bridge to connect the club with the parking area on the western side of Leumeah Railway Station, to be completed in early 2011.**

Early 2011, they better pull their fingers out, construction hasn't started yet.

Construction on-site won't be that big a deal.

The main work will be any pilons etc as I would assume most of it will be pre fab sections as is the norm these days
