The Campbelltown Factor....

No need to be nervous tigergirlz, we speak English at Leumeah. Beware of the bogans of course and don't look anyone directly in the eye.

Depending on what time you expect to arrive I'm thinking maybe park in Airds Rd Leumeah then walk over the train station to get to the ground, although going back to the car there is quite a congestion going over the stairs at the station. Once in the car I imagine there shouldn't be too much trouble getting back on the freeway. Where are you coming from? It all gets down to patience, I have none so would rather walk a bit further to get back to the car than be stuck in traffic. :sign:

I may have misled you there. I'm not nervous about going to Campbelltown per se, just hate driving to new places for the first time. Coming from the north of Hornsby. Have packed the road trip gear already.

The Magpies website has a good set of directions for getting to Campbelltown Sports Stadium

You will love it…..just park at the Lumeah Trian station safe as any secure parking in the world....

It great when you get there just give yourself plenty of travel time. If you can get there early as I agree there will be a big crowd. :supporter:

Tickets are selling fast I heard with limited western grandstand available.

Buy tickets online:

This thread has been renamed the Campbelltown factor….

Given the genuine concern shown for Sheens state of mental health in naming the side this afternoon and most it seems thinking we have no chance against the Roosters.....I implore all fans to get out to Cambo and support the boys as they pull on the Wests Tigers jumper....

Lets pack the joint for our first home game at one of our traditional home grounds....

If Sheens continues to screw us....Lets get there and LIFT the team to victory...

Fortress Cambo......Smash them into the hallowed turf.......Let them know what Wests is all about....

That is All....

Given good weather should be 18k+, anything less is disgraceful. If we can't average 18k+ for traditional venues then we should all stop demanding more games for CSS and LO.

Good call staks, the weekend weather is supposed to be nice and warm and if the Tigers can't get a big crowd to the first match at Campbelltown for the season, well something is seriously wrong.

They're predicting 25 C and a sunny day. Should be an absolute ripper and test the capacity of the new ground. With all those extra seats I reckon it will hold 20,000 max these days. But, lets see how many we can squish in.
Can't wait till they fix the railway overpass - i get sick of seeing my train/s pull out while i'm stuck in the crowd trying to get onto the overpass - i take it it is not finished yet.

If I can make the trip from over 300 klms away all you Sydney based fans should make the effort to support our mighty Tigers!! It'll be worth it just to see who actually plays in which position coz it's often difficult to tell by watching the TV. I managed to get 3 grandstand tickets online last night. ROLL ON SUNDAY!!!

What railway overpass? If it is to be built they haven't started it yet.
