I have been reading the many threads on our forum which include,Politics, nines, fantasy league and other topics…..
Seeing it is offseason and we are allowed to discuss numerous other topics I would like to mention that I had a very enjoyable evening with my wife and daughter tonight...so what you may ask?..
We had prawn cocktails and blue eyed cod for dinner, cooked by me at home and after dinner my wife said she has picked a movie for us to watch...so what you may ask ?...
The point of this thread is,the movie we watched together was called "Back to Zero"..the basics of the movie was about a couple who were married and were expecting their first child, the baby was still born, and this is where the relationship fell apart...
If ever you get to watch this movie you will see how difficult life can be after enduring such a heartache...I was totally touched by this movie because it showed how difficult it can be to overcome such a burden in your life...the reason I mentioned this today is that I was staggered by the amount of couples that have been in this situation...something like one in every 160 births can be still born...
This would be a devastating thing to happen to anyone...
My point is that we take for granted what we have been given in life...
Life itself is precious and should be appreciated, the little baby in the movie was named Arthur and he didn't even get a chance to see what life had to offer...Some on this forum will probably call me a sook or some such, but I would like everyone who agrees to diagree or argue a particular topic to appreciate what we can do and how we go about our daily lives, others haven't had the chance to be that lucky....
I know I will be critised for this thread because of its relevance or lack of,but the movie was based on a true story and it did effect me in a way that it made me think of the things that others take for granted.......
Please don't think that I have lost the plot,I just started to realise how things can touch people's hearts,my 11yr old was crying during the movie and I thought what a beautiful heart she has,but she is here to enjoy life and little Arthur didn't get the chance....cheers guys and thanks for listening.....
