The club's contradictions...

**“The coach can’t run on the field”…**

**“It is not his job to tackle and catch”…**

**"We have cap room".**

Okay...let's look at each part carefully:

Missed tackles? **Well, the main culprit was Nofa.**

Did not attempt to to catch a kick? **Well, the man again was Nofa.**

We have cap room / **inference being we need new players.**

So, the chairman is basically saying it is not the coach...it is the players...

Yet, the chairman is the same guy who jumped in and made sure Nofa was a Tiger for life / extended him four more years.

The main culprit is the player 'he' extended four more years (possibly the most ridiculous contract any club has given a winger)...

So, who exactly is to blame?

You can't "not blame" the coach..."and" extend the player who makes the mistakes..."and" not blame anyone. At that point you are in a maze of rhetoric, none of which makes sense and accountability is completely lost.

I smashed a mirror. Another 7 years without making the 8. Settle in and lower those hopes.

You can't blame Nofo for the loss completely but yep he was poor. I don't like the barrage aimed at Brooks even though he isn't great. Nofo was next level diabolical out there and the Chairman and coach both gave us guarantees that he would stay. I don't remember too many supporters stating he had to stay. There was a preference he stayed on reasonable dollars.

I honestly think that the coach and admin should have stated something like:- "We didn't perform the way we expect ourselves too and that is on the club as a whole. Everyone is working exceptionally hard to turn the situation and we fully intend to do so".

I'm not usually critical of the club but placing this all on the players isn't right.
