The culture of bullying and abuse at Wests Tigers..

You stick your name to a story , your responsible

All journalist want to hide behind this , I answer to a boss

How about some credibility to your craft

We should be able to sue the pants off them, sadly mud sticks even if it has been manufactured. The thing I like is Go and Pascoe will not sit back and let this garbage go through to the keeper

It will take a lot for me to finally admit the club finally has some real leadership at the top after all the morons this club has had as CEO 's over the years .
It does know seem the tide has turned and finally some real leadership at the top …but I am still hesitant at this stage.

I'm not disagreeing with you Happy, Phelps wrote the article but he didn't have the final say whether to put it to print or not.

On what grounds?

Go has essentially admitted in the SMH article that the claims made in that report are true and all the DT article does is cover & quote from the report. I think some people need an understanding of defamation law before shouting "SUE THEM!" and the fact it is even mentioned in the club statement is a worry to me.

Ayoub declined to comment when contacted on Sunday but he continues to have players on the books at the Tigers, including Kyle Lovett, David Nofoaluma, Justin Hunt and former Origin centre Jamal Idris, who he signed to a one-year deal with the team last month.

Its been often queried on here if Tedesco was still with him….glad his names not there

You know sometimes when your shoes get dirty, but it's more than dirt, it's other bits and pieces of crap which sometimes form together to stick between the grooves on your shoes? Well that's Ayoub.

He also made sure that he quickly got Inglis signed, sealed and delivered here before he delivered his dirt. Why the club keeps signing his players in beyond me, the less the club has anything to do with him the better. I would rather bring up our juniors. Maybe the Police and the NRL in their findings might dish out some dirt towards his way

The club must sue.

This will be very interesting to see what happens.

Having family members that work in Newspapers (never at the Daily Telegraph), this would have gone past the legal team at the paper before being published. They would have seen the document and the quotes and approved the story. They would have been happy with it and approved it to be published.

Many people threaten to sue papers over articles but very few go ahead with it as they get legal advice they won't win. I very much doubt the club will end up taking legal action against the Telegraph.

It's a slanderous article. Front page which makes it worse. They produced the same article more than once. The club has facts in improving in player welfare. If they don't sue now they never will.

Someone should plant something on Ayoub and then he should be given endless anal probes

No hints of course

Im no lawyer but I cant really see any legal action here….its just the usual standard BS the Telecrap is renowned for....I might be wrong

Hopefully this is the final arrows and return serve fired from both parties

Now that even Go has alluded to Ayoub being the instigator in this episode, I wonder how many of blind are now beginning to see….

This isnt the first rodeo. Its not even the first nor second time he has used suicidal players to force an agenda against us in the media.

Next question I suppose is... what axe does Ayoub have to grind? Because whilst Ayoub is a grub of the lowest order, its not clever for any manager to burn bridges with any club, and the guy isnt a total fool. More than likely he has been directed by one of his cash cows to do whatever it takes...

'Chairwoman' being used a few times in the article gives it away… Rothfield can't help himself as he has been handed flogging after flogging from her through social media channels.

Add a few Powerbrokers from the NSWRL Boys Club, especially some with an axe to grind, and it becomes clearer.

A question has just entered by head

I wonder what Robbie's reaction was when he saw the front page of the DT with Mosese's photo sitting there ??

He would have known it was coming way before publication…..

I doubt he would of approved of the photo they used splashed all over the front pages

If he did , I'd say he would of lost a lot of mates today

It is difficult to know at this point whether publication of this garbage is sufficient to ground a defamation claim or whether any of the available defences such as truth and public benefit might apply. No doubt the club's solicitors will examine the whole matter in great detail and advise the club accordingly. If they do sue and recover any damages, it might be a good idea to donate these moneys to Beyond Blue.

Seems like this story might have had more legs 12-24 months ago. Its pretty ordinary to put it on the front page of the Sunday papers so i support the clubs strong retort.

Appears the club are headed in the right direction in regards to beefing up their welfare and support systems.

This sort of stuff shouldn't fall all on the coaching staff, they have a tough enough job preparing the team each week. However the best coaches in the game I am sure this is an area they excel at.

This is a big year coming up for the club. We have run out of what I call "freebie years" where expectations were lowish from the outside.

This year Go and Pascoe and Taylor and the players need to prove the culture around the club is won of excellence and hard work.

We can't afford to go backwards.

Good to see the response from the Club. The media and certain individuals who think they are above the law are a rule unto themselves. Why not we starve them of the oxygen they seek. The club and the players need to use this ill founded adversity as an opportunity and get into pre season training and prove detractors wrong on the field. Personally myself I get a gut feeling that the team and the environment around the team is building nicely. Will feel a little bit more comfortable when Teddy, Moses, ET and Brookes are resigned. bring on 2017…..................
