Looking at the table, i was surprised to see that we aren't ranked 2nd last like a lot like to claim. There are several teams who have conceded more points than us. Besides our right edge, our defence gets a really bad rap imo.

Yeah, but our right side is definitely the worst in the comp. Every time Mitch Moses and Kevin Naiqama would come in David Nofoluma would fly in as well. Tigertorch has talked about drills where Kev flies in and Nofo stays out, well i have seen no improvement and if Parra had Norman or Foran passing out to Semi Radradra would have absolutely destroyed us.

You're talking about a side that was illegally acquired. By rights they shouldn't have that side anyway.

I think Taylor should be given a 1 year extension to current deal (ie: extend to 2018).

I've never liked the fact that points against apparently determines defensive ability.. There are other factors that contribute also, so it's far from being a black and white stat. Points against is a big factor of course, but it's hardly the only thing that should be looked at when judging defence. I mean, points against includes goals too does it not? Can't really defend those..

No i take it back , your right this thread is huge, going from 2nd worsrt to 4th worst defence deserves recognition especially for the main man taylor lol. The following is something a very smart man was quoted:

"**_We've got to get our defence. If we want to play in the semi-finals you've got to improve the defence._**

He also said :

"**_We finished sixth in attack last year but we didn't play in the semi-finals. A lot of teams that finished in the top eight in attack who didn't play in the semi-finals. Why? Because they didn't defend well enough. We need to improve that._**

Guess who?? Yes Mr Taylor himself, our so called defence guru. Your right 7/11 is great, imagine what we could have done with someone who can coach. But i bet you love it when Lovett goes to centre, Rankin to dummy half, while Cherrington is watching from the sideline as 18th man. Hopefully Farah and Jt are not here next year.
