How our Board never saw the potential in Koro 😱pen_mouth: :bash

No way that was a board decision….it was a Mayer/Potter decision...and one that I cant reconcile.

Good Lord….let me see.... maybe if I type slower...Koro didn't want to be here....no point keeping a player if he doesn't commit to the Club...

See Merrin/Dragons,,,DCE/Manly...Foran/Manly the list goes on

Good on Koro ...hope he continues to slay it...except against US...

Try caps lock Geo

Apparently he wanted out ??

He was playing in Reserve Grade pretty much half the year except for 1 first grade game for the Tigers .

If he wanted out ? it would be on the basis that he wanted to play 1st Grade and someone else was offering it .

Obviously cause he was playing Reserve Grade , if another Club offers you an opportunity while your in Reserve Grade i'm sure you might want out ?

True…However his desire to leave started well before that

Fafita, Moa and possibly Austin depending on if he can continue to improve his game are the only ones worth getting upset about. The others opened up opportunities for some recruiting.

There would be no Naquama if we still had Koro.

Move on, get excited about what we do have and the next gen.

He's made some mistakes tonight. He's as just as much a liability as he is an asset

Is he a better footballer than Nofo, Richards, Naiqama? Personally I say no. I would have preferred to keep him, but the way he was playing, he didn't deserve to be first-choice starting. I understand why he left.

People get so wrapped up in pure speed, that odd highlight where he might run the length of the field.

But there is so much more to it than that. Is Koro super-reliable under the high ball? Nope. Is he tall? No. Can he goal kick? Don't believe so. Defensive and offensive positioning? Has work to do. Safe hands? Hardly.

As much as I recall the great Parra debut where he scored 4, I remember a number of other games where he raced out of the line in defence and let a try in.

For me, Nofo has scored more impressive tries, in more difficult and clutch circumstances.

I personally would stick with Brooks and Moses because they look likely. They do have to prove it though and Austin to me is already proven.

It's a no brainer then - we ain't got Austin.

Apart from that small fact
Imo there's a major difference between Brooks and Moses and Austin, and that is that
B&M while still aren't there, have much more potential than AUstin Has,
I'd be very surprised if Austin has that much improvement in him.
His problems that he had here( (hands and almost locking up the ball every time he got it) were still evident in the games I've seen involving Canberra
We don't need a selfish player at five eighth.
I'd prefer Drinkwater any day to Austin if we had to make any change

wow he is having a blinder at halfback. Maybe im not convinced he is a centre.

What a great first half Blake Austin is having today ….leading by example ..scoring a try , setting one up and putting his body on the line to save one .
