One in tonights game
Andy Raymond: Well that tackle on Hopoate was very similar to one by Glenn Stewart a bit earlier, where he hit the ball and bounced up around the neck, which was penalised, but that one wasn't, I'm curious to know what the difference is.
Loz the Snoz: Well the difference is, the one by Glenn Stewart was deemed worthy of a penalty, while that one on Hopoate wasn't…

I thought I put a quote from one the ABC grandstand commentators on this thread but mustn't have .Tigers v Canberra game commentator came up with a Lozzarism "I think we will be at this game for the whole 80 minutes " I was sondering how the colour commentary was going to go without any commentators . :crazy

Much like Johns and Fittlers he just struggles to get his words out and says some stupid stuff. Gordy was shocking too when he started, but he has improved greatly, Loz has been calling games for the best part of a decade and still struggles with his words. Plus he hates us, so I guess it makes the thread even more enjoyable.
I look forward to games on Fox just so I can hear him waffle his way through 80 minutes of footy. It satisfies my passion for the game plus I get a good chuckle out of him making an absolute fool of himself.
He definitely is something else. I can't believe that the master of such champagne commentary as "he's making forward progress" and "when you need big moments you need to go to your big moment players" was ever a selector for the blues!
On the other hand, we should make him an honourary maroon for his disservice to NSW rugby league.
