The Leichhardt experience

Park in my aunties driveway.
Walk 3 mins to the ground
Stand on the hill with a pie and a can.
Happy days!!

If your better half won't like standing on the hill, divorce her.

According to the SMH report on the weekend keep her out of the loo at LO or it may be a one and only attendance.

All part of the experience - at least for the toilet at the Keith Barnes Stand end, aka The Glenn Morrison memorial toilets…

I agree with tradition but aren't they being re-named after Woods, Moses and Tedesco along with the Robbie Farah Scoreboard at the end of 2017..

No, they are and always will be the Glenn Morrison Memorial Dunnies.

If you want food, the Gary Owen is a better option (restaurant out the back), or even the 3 Weeds if you're prepared to walk a bit further.

A perfect way immortalise a man who left for bigger and better things.

Glenn Morrison dunnies are at the Iron Cove end I always thought

I better take some umbrellas seeing as were at the bottom of the hill, just in case Woods & Tedesco do a farewell lap

My better half arrived in Aus 30 years ago and they settled in Gladesville, she followed the Tigers at their peak from 88/89….but never saw them live

Shes never been to LO, I want her to experience it at least once, the crowds, the walk to the ground, the banter...weve been to Cambo & ANZ before so got some good tickets right on the fence near one of the 30m lines

A few questions.
Can still park in the hospital?

I usually park down other side of blackmore but she wouldnt be impressed walking up the hill

Can you get a decent feed at the Orange Grove?
6.30 kick off is a good time for an early dinner

Had tickets on the 30m line right on the fence for the Raiders game last year, was a great view and the sideline was only 10-15 metres away from you.
Just a damn shame there was not a lot of pleasant viewing that day, would of been very memorable otherwise.
Hope you have better luck with the final result on Sunday.

I just looked at the ticket prices $50.50 for adults!

& people wonder why crowds are down.

Because people are too good to go GA? What is this, Real Housewives of the NRL?

GA is $30+ as well…there's no value there for what would be mostly standing room with no guarantee of a decent view. At $10-$15 for GA and $20-$25 for reserved, there wouldn't be many complaints about pricing.

It's not about being too good either. If I wanted to take my girlfriend, it would be grandstand seating all the way.

In saying the above, I guess it's all supply and demand.

Leichhardt Oval is usually packed out every time we play there, so they can keep lifting the price until crowds start dropping.

The Grandstand at Leichhardt is virtually sold out with Members Season Ticket Holders but often there are quite a few empty seats …Expecting the same on Sunday..
