The LEICHHARDT Myth

Finally can the Myth of Liechtdardt oval be put to bed as a fortress and other teams hate playing there….this truely is false and somewhat of a Myth!

It definitely gives both the players and supporters a false sense of security, like it’s just going to be an automatic win. Never underestimate the Titans. They’re pure guts.

Leichhardt is worth 12 points a game to the Wests Tigers…

It was today….For the Titans.

Line up and have a crack at Leichardt -,nothing and no one should escape criticism after that debacle.
There is no escaping the fact though fans will turn up on a Sunday arvo to watch the team play even with all its deficiences.

Everyone goes on about a big crowd on a Sunday afternoon but these crowds have less atmosphere than the night games. The once a season crew rock up and sit on the hill and don’t get into the game dulling the atmosphere.

As much as i loved the hill, it needs to go.
Proper undercover stadium seating is the way to go for a real atmosphere.
I dont think we will be there much longer to get honest. Once parramatta is built and ANZ gets refurbished. They will be lured with money.
Its days are numbered.

I agree with this. I love Leichhardt, I grew up watching games there and it holds a lot of positive memories. But the reality is that seated stadiums with modern facilities are needed. I hope the club can continue to use the ground for a game a season against teams like Melbourne/titans/cowboys/broncos
