Imagine the post match discussions if they did these things week on week over the last ten years. They're playing for high completion rates and the defence is starting to click a bit. The errors absolutely killed Souths. We held on to the ball and we did enough to get the 2 points. Full credit to the players and coaching staff this week.

This side is showing ticker - given the disruption over late replacements and long term injuries, our depth has been challenged. Sidelined Ute Douehi Talau Kepou Blore and the Kitchen sink should have ended our season ages ago. Add Roberts Simpkin & Kelma and we were looking like a team without any players. Credit to the Coach & the team for turning up

3 weeks ago I had pretty much written the season off and had zero confidence in the Coach or the team, honestly it was an awful feeling.
To see the turn around in the team is quite amazing. Suddenly we have a smiling coach & players.
The belief of the players in the coach & the coach in the players is obvious.
On the field they are talking & encouraging each other all game, they seem to suddenly believe in each other and want to play better for each other.
Is it the Jackson Hastings addition or something else, I don't know, but I do know it feels great to be winning & I have never been so happy to be wrong about a team.

The Hastings Chat is the key. Brooks was never articulate enough to run the team. Our forwards are now applying Rex Mossop's classic "Forward Progress" in their runs!
