Man I love Jacko, great work by all, and Brooks for nailing the field goal - but Jacko directed all of that. Beautiful to watch. The Hastings Chat is the key. Brooks was never articulate enough to run the team. Our forwards are now applying Rex Mossop's classic "Forward Progress" in their runs!
Yep - it's a simple game and thankfully our meatheads are starting to follow the game plan.Man I love Jacko, great work by all, and Brooks for nailing the field goal - but Jacko directed all of that. Beautiful to watch.
We did it again brody
I’m Hastings post match interview it was Brooks who over called the field goal play..Man I love Jacko, great work by all, and Brooks for nailing the field goal - but Jacko directed all of that. Beautiful to watch.
The ABC commentators were saying the same thing. It disrupted what Hastings/ Brooks had going in the halves. Madden to DH would have been less disruptiveI think the reasoning isn’t about effort.
The reasoning is because his service is sometimes slow and never on the chest.
I think the perfect combo is Liddle/Simpkin.
Brooks should never go to 9, if Madden is on the bench he should move into 9.
Also I bagged out Madge for having a Centre (Gildart) on the bench for this game.. I hope he never does it again.
Hastings was still the one organising the whole set though, he even yells at Liddle and points to Brooks while acting as the decoy when Brooks nailed it.I’m Hastings post match interview it was Brooks who over called the field goal play..
Brooks wanted it and nailed it..
the ABC commentators interview Hastings first . He said it Brooks called that play. Hastings also went onto say how much Brooks had supported him since his arrival at the club.I’m Hastings post match interview it was Brooks who over called the field goal play..

Yep. they are working very well as a halves combo. Complementing each other’s strengths and weaknessesHastings was still the one organising the whole set though, he even yells at Liddle and points to Brooks while acting as the decoy when Brooks nailed it.
Watching at the ground at every stoppage you can see Hastings barking orders. If someone is not where they need to be he makes sure they know and they respondThe Hastings Chat is the key. Hastings has been excellent, Brooks has been okay. Still a lot of errors from Brooks but at least he's showing some confidence, still needs to do a lot moreYep. they are working very well as a halves combo. Complementing each other’s strengths and weaknesses
Not to discredit Brooks but Hastings is the man.liddle defence is great played good tonight. How good is brooks
Same last week, we finaly got our leaderWatching at the ground at every stoppage you can see Hastings barking orders. If someone is not where they need to be he makes sure they know and they respond
The moment I loved was after a South’s try. We all know Noffa has a pretty high opinion of himself. Well he didn’t mark up on Alex Johnson and Hastings let him know it. When Noffa fired back an excuse or two, Hastings pointed at the big screen , I can only imagine he offered noffa the opportunity to see how far out of position he was. Accountability that I haven’t seen in the WT playing group in years. I really hope we aren’t reading about players who can’t handle Hastings honesty. It’s what this club needs so much.Watching at the ground at every stoppage you can see Hastings barking orders. If someone is not where they need to be he makes sure they know and they respond
This.Yep. they are working very well as a halves combo. Complementing each other’s strengths and weaknesses
