Aside from the Controversy Corner segment (which was excellent), the rest was crap, rushed and really not funny.

Mason highlighted how much of a goose he is with his attitude and some of his comments. Overall I thought the show was pretty average, no better than the footy show for the most part. A couple of Johns skits got a bit of a chuckle, but with his football brain, he should be talking more serious football in between his skits to break the show up a bit better IMO.

So rushed. They didnt settle into any of the segments. It was like they wanted to show us everything the first episode.

Matty was pretty nervous i think. Once he settles down and if they cut back on having so many segments in one show it will be good.

I enjoyed it. It was a good combo. It's 7.30 pm prime time fellas, no 'serious' RL show is going to be on in that time slot and you've got no idea if you think there could be. It's a nice combo…......fluff mixed in with serious stuff. My wife loved it. My parents (who rarely watch footy shows) texted me that they enjoyed it.

Hybrid, relax a bit mate.......there's more serious things to get worked up about champ.

Hope it succeeds.

I liked that …3 qustion and the guy wins a plasma...unlike similar segment on fat's footy show that go on and on and on..

It was a very average show I thought.

The only segment that was remotely funny was "Steven the Man-child" (I thoroughly enjoyed that one!). The rest were poor.

"Real" footy wise… not much to write home about.

Yeah I'm with Sirro, Matty looked really nervous and I think they tried to cram every segment into first show to sort out what works and what needs to be cut from the format. The re-pore and banter on the panel was a little flat and wooden but it'll improve when they all settle in a little more.

Controversy Corner was very good. Big respect to Willie for fronting the panel, he knew he was going to get belted (especially from Kent) and didn't run away from anything.
