I think alot of it seemed rush because of nerves but it seems like it was edited by a muppet with no idea on pacing

The name of the show says it all.
No mention of footy in it and very little footy talk.
More of a variety show with a smidgen/dash of footy.

As bad as it may have been it was still miles ahead of the Footy show and just displays Ch9 mistake in not replacing the rangar with Johns years ago when they had the chance.

I thought the show was good for it's debut. I did miss quite a bit of it as I was watching it while at a birthday party.
I agree Johns looked nervous, I guess that was to be expected after all that has happened then starting his own show.
I think it will get better - it may be a little trial and error at first but I was overall impressed.
My favourite part was definately the controversy corner. That was brilliant stuff! Keeping it real, asking the hard questions. You could see Mason's nerves showing through but to his credit he kept his cool and answered questions well with as much honesty as he could, I did laugh when he slipped a naughty word though haha
I will watch next week.

No rhythm or real flow to the show at all for mine, it seemed very amateurish at times. The 'Shane Webcke show' thing just got old so quickly…there's no doubt Johns is a talent though, just not a very confident one at the moment.
He'll be better for the hit out this week and am expecting the show to improve once those initial nerves are out of the way. I'm not sure he did himself any favours with his support cast either to be honest but will be interesting to see how it is looking in 4-6 weeks.

There is NO way I will be watching that gump again,the 9 people must have been laughing their tits off at how bad it was.In fact it was soooo bad it made the footy show look quite good.
Speaking of which how funny was Beau Ryan.....i was in hysterics at his Bunji piss take.
My fave was........him on the dunny saying"hey Gritchin,this thing isnt going to wipe itsilf".

Both SMH and the DT took it pretty easy on the show today, the DT went as far as saying it was a good show.
I guess it all comes down to personaly preference, I thought the show last night was ordinary at best - barely any footy chat, skit's that weren't funny…however on the other side of the coin I have always enjoyed the Ch 9 Footy Show (which is getting better week by weekm after definately falling away a couple of years ago).
