Aren't the Bulldogs the major goers for Teddy? The combination with Brooks and Farah is looking deadly. He may not get that at the doogies

Blocker, who is our forwards coach, mentioned on radio today that Teddy has fielded a massive offer from the Bulldogs and he feels Teddy will be lost to the WT…I'm emailing Mayer...surely we can fit Teddy in our cap over the next 3 or 4 years!
 
The club has gone on a youth polcy keeping both Wests and Balmain juniors.
After the release of Gibbs and Fifita both Wests juniors and the furore it caused and with Wests being the only financial partner at the moment I reckon the dogs would have to sell their carpark to move him from us.

Buckiies but it will push up his price.

Losing someone else is a bigger worry because of it.

How can the dogs keep paying these large contracts,don't they have a cap,I mean $850k for Fifita,$700k for Graham,$330 for Licha,re-signed Morris,they,have Eastwood,Tolman,Pritchard,Williams,Inu,Klemmer,Kasiano all on healthy deals,it does not even go close to fitting under the cap,without Teddy. :angry:

I am watching the dogs game now,Ennis is a really bad player,and the dogs have said they will re-sign him as well,another one stuffed in the bulging cap of theirs.
 
That is only Blockers opinion , So we don't have a final say if we can match the $$$ or the terms, of course we do.

Teddy won't be leaving. He has to much class and authority at the WT. The difference between Teddy and what happened with Fifita is, Teddy was earmarked for first grade, fast tracked through all grades and given the fullback position to make his own. A near enough offer will keep him at the WT. The way he's been playing it's not just the WT that are going to be paying overs.

I was hearing triple m they asked James Hooper whats the latest with James Tedesco he said roosters want him and that's all and he hopes he will stay with us.

If a team offers 15k a year extra that could be the difference, over 4 years, 60k js a lot of money

The two biggest threats according to the rumours are the Dogs and Roosters. Both have potential issues:

- The Dogs need a fullback but must be pushing the cap if the reports of player salaries are true
- The Roosters will have spare cash from $BW but have invested the last two seasons in grooming RTS to succeed Mini

I hope this is sorted out soon.
