The Month From Hell - what are you hoping for?

In typical Tigers style, we have been teased with some glimpses of what may be without any consistency over the last few weeks. Two positives are that it seems the forwards are on the improve and Brookes is beginning to do what he hoped he would have years ago. Hopefully those things will continue.

The next four weeks could help mould us into a more confident team or break us again. I'm hoping for a few things. First, we show commitment for the whole match - not the 60 minutes we seemingly have now Second is they don't give up even if a game is getting away from us. Last, improvement in the defence in the backs - without that it doesn't matter how well the forwards are playing.

Nice win, but still a long, long way to go. We’ve matched it with Penrith in the past even when they were going well, so this game will certainly be a litmus test for us to see if we really are improving. As someone mentioned last night we’ve lost most of our matches by only small margins, which is better than having big blow outs, but the sad reality is that we’ve only 4 wins from beating the same 2 teams twice! A win over Penrith would be an absolute miracle.

I'm hoping that a lot of players from Penrith, Parramatta, Melbourne and souths are selected to play State of Origin in the upcoming weeks.

Will many Panthers even be picked. Cleary obviously. I don’t think Luai is a certainty. There’s talk of Burton being 18th man, but even if that were the case, he’d still play against us. To’o could be a chance too. I can’t think of anyone else.

I think Yeo will be in there

Souffs and Pawwa are very beatable even imo before you factor SOO into it,it is certainly much harder against the storm and panthers even allowing for SOO.
Realistically I expect 1-2 wins out of the 4.I know i am quite possibly deluded but that is what being a long term supporter is all about.
Go get em boys

Yeah and Capewell could get picked for the Maroons.

Im Hoping Madge doesnt give up on us after some great signs of what the Squad and the Club culture could be in 2 more years

Oh Yes and Jagging a win or two would be awesome

I think Luai will definitely be in the team. So that’s both halves, yeo and capewell and potentially Martin and To’o. The halves and Yeo are a massive out for how Penrith play. Still a tough team to beat but I think it will be there for us to take

I think we’ll jag a win in there somewhere, we generally manage to upset the top teams. I also expect at least one flogging. An interesting month ahead

It'd be great if we win just 1 of the 4...
Against the Panthers.

Would love to win all 4 games and have a nice relaxing bye, if we play like we did last night, anything is possible.

Not hopeful tho.

GO TIGERS THOUGH
🐯

No wins, but hopefully no blow outs. Six again rule, coupled with the real risk of a sin bin or two has made beating the gun sides very hard..even at below full strength

Capewell for QLD?

I think we are a big chance against Parra and the Bunnies. If we are on we can beet them. Penrith and Melbourne will be tough but with the outs you never know. At least our team will not be disrupted.
