We had enough to lure Nathan. So assuming Matterson is around $400k, should have enough for the last two players to be regular quality first graders (my guess is $400k each).

Not arguing with your estimate but, if we've only got $800k left in the kitty, we have a very average roster to show for it. How can clubs like St George, Cronulla, Titans and Newcastle to name a few produce superior rosters for the same money. You'll note I haven't included Easts or Brisbane in my list as I'm not sure the cap applies to them.

It really should be at least that, very probably a fair amount more.
Of all the players we have let go, (about 6 or 7,) we have bought younger cheaper players in their place. Only Matterson who may have been on slightly more than Grant.

We had cash left over from last year, so should be a shipload left really.

ur 100% right shiploads left, and we see the cowgirls negotiate a release for mcdonald, are we a sleep at the wheel or what. every other side is able to pick up good to very good players except us. ( matterson excluded) but we need 3-4 very good players not bloody ISP PLAYERS.

If we had the money for Nathan (it's a mute point anyway ) but it would of been 2020 cap unless we were front loading his contract

Naaaaah …. keep your chin up buddy. We’ve all been through tougher times.
Thinks are on the up New bunch of kids on the horizon, new facilities, perhaps even a new experienced coach with new ideas and possibility of new club ownership structure with improved funding and sponsorship opportunities.
Out crowds and membership is up and most importantly we have solid administrative and coaching teams in place.
Despite all doom and gloom I am optimistic about our future prospects.
But that’s me!

Marsters for one (that would of been the biggest in my opinion) , Chee Kam , Twal , Aloiai also from memory

Bet Robbie and Benji didn't come cheap either

I know it's not heaps but it all adds up

I won't be surprised if Robbie's on 300 k
