The Positive Thread

I know it's currently uncool to support our floundering team, but right now, I feel it is the best thing to do. Yes, there are issues with players leaving and rumours regarding players joining, but we have to look past this. Look past the Sack Sheens threads, look past the doom and gloom threads, the tigers means so much more then petty squabbles like this. As a die hard tigers supporter, I log onto the Tigers forum every morning and every night for any type of Tigers tidbit. After checking the Daily Telegraph and Herald websites for any bit of news, I am in a constant crave for anything Tigers related. Does it rule my life….yes it does, but do you know what, I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

I love my Tigers, win, lose or draw. Following the tigers is like a rollercoaster ride, high on the highs and low on the lows. Benji, Farah, Lawrence.... they feel like my best friends sometimes, they are constantly on my mind, I cant help that. I hope that the Tigers will keep me proud of them, because it not always about the amount of wins but the way they perform. Go the Tigers, I will always support you.

I'm positive too Positive something might be seriously wrong I love the Tigers as well but if they have screwed up the salary cap or something which is out of the players or the fans hands , someone (whoevers fault it is ) must pay . If someone hurts something or someone I love or feel strongly for I won't stand by and watch I TAKE ACTION To me this is how it looks from the outside and the club isn't saying or doing anything to deny it .

theres only 8 more times i have to watch that rubbish this year

Yes won't the Titans v Tigers game in a few weeks be a must see for all footy fans :unamused:

look on the brightside on another day we couldve beaten the eels by 30 if our passes stuck, we didnt help ourselves with completions but not alot went our way

wake up and smell the end of the season, the club has given up other wise they would have told us of what signings they have got. yet they still want our money thr thr turnstills, not me again this years.

Yeah and if me aunty had balls she'd be me uncle :unamused:

I'm positive that we should have sacked Sheens at the end of the 2007 season.

classic.

as for the positives. well, usually i dont get dragged down in all the negatives.

but i am not feeling positive at the moment.
we lost by a big margin against a team who have been struggling. we had the bye going into the match (chance to trash things out and regroup), we were supposed to go great this season, players are supposed to be flaunting their wares to other clubs and we are still waiting to learn why it has all occured (i.e. new signings).

the positives? lawerence and benji came back from injury.. i stopped listening to the game on 2gb at the 45th minute.

This, it's kind of a shame we did well last year, maybe he'd be going to Penrith by now. I really want to see how these players perform under a different coach.

Totally agree we are cutting much of the deadwood but still have the "rotten plank" at the centre

Well the positive thread…................................. this is a joke right, please tell me what positives have you got out of this rabble for the past 4 weeks???????????". S F A thats what, you see robbie on the news every friday saying well it has to start now our push into the finals what a load of crap that is,sure lawrence came back last night and was our best and this is a bloke who has had 4 months off with a carreer ending injury yes thats a positive. the rest is crap the team are crap the coach is crap the whole club at the moment is crap, so where kicking out the deadwood thats a positive 6 players released for 1 player hell he is gonna be busy, see now thats a negative lol. what else do i wish to say thats positive, ohh yeah this thread is positively ............ well crap im sorry to who ever started this thread i am not having a dig at you, i just cannot see how we as supporters can take the crap (like last nights game) dished up to us week in and week out.............................................................................................................................

Happy, I am with you! What the hell are the Management and the Coach doing to improve our results RIGHT NOW? Forget next year (Sheens always wants YOU to look at next year, because he does not want any **close** examination of his failings AT THE MOMENT) because if the team does not improve NOW, we will start to lose the support of the current sponsors. At the moment, Wests Tigers are doing fairly well in this area, BUT IT COULD ALL GO PEAR-SHAPED in six months, which would start a downward spiral!
Do we simply accept ANOTHER REBUILDING YEAR (according to Sheens again) in 2012, so we can deflect criticism of the failure in 2011\. I know there are injuries to blame, but what do we blame for ANOTHER LACK-LUSTRE PERFORMANCE against a team runnind well behind us?

I am positive ,whilst is does give me a bit of sadness in admitting, this, that in the off season, as a supporter I probably expected far too much from wests-tigers this season :unamused: , with them continuing last season good performances.

in saying that I am positive that the team will perform better over the remaining 8 rounds.
they simply just have to.

I am positive that I will support wests-tigers until the day I leave this earth ( no I am no going to become a astronaut)

I _**am positive its wests-tigers or nothing for me in NRL.**_ :sign:

i hate these kind of threads, no one is saying the negative among us are going to stop supporting them, but let's admit the place has major problems at the moment… attitude and coaching!

Yes! Why cannot other people see this? If you look at the game last night, it did appear that the team had an attitude problem. They did not show any enthusiasm for what should have been a chance to win another game.
Who is responsible for getting the right attitude in the team, no matter who is in the team?

Good to see Im not the only one with the curse. Seems very obvious our beloved Tigers well, she's a broke. Needs to be fixed. This can't be done by a bunch of the most passionate supporters in the league , us, venting and calling for blood. Cool heads must prevail. I agree Novocastrian all we can do is roll with the punches and go along for the ride, try to keep the positives. My dear old granny GBHS used to say to me all the time "dont look for the bad in people or you'll only find it and be dissapointed". Wise woman my granny.
