It’s the designers of the grounds fault , why the sound goes through there out one side . The designers fault that there’s next to no cover . It’s the community’s fault that most go to those games and treat it like a picnic in the park ( me included when I take my kids, that’s a shot at myself) .It’s not a grounds fault that we’ve had a team that’s sucked.
It’s the ground announcer/ DJ fault that he’s soo shit at reading the crowd , that halfway through a close match , there’s a real lack of engagement regardless the score .
Mate like I’ve said heaps , that ground is infinitely the closer of the 2 . I would love to live in a world where those criticisms are incorrect but they’re not . And it’s been like that since forever . I remember going there in 2010 and thinking the same things . There’s something missing .
So rather shrug and say it is what it is , I’d rather be more objective than that and try and fix it . I want that area to be as passionate and expressing that intensity. I want when the chant goes up for tigers , the whole ground kicks in , rather than pockets here and there , because everyone is trying to lift the team . And here’s another point . When the chant does up you get dinosaurs saying “wests” instead of tigers , undermining everything I’m saying. I actually go to these games a lot . And I want this too succeed . It you have to acknowledge the problems to fix it .
